Chapter 26: And the winner is...

Alice is just strolling around the area while waiting for the winner to be called. She then bought a little bit of souvenirs so she could remember today's event. She move a lot until she finally realise that she got separated from her brother and Makoto is not there with her. She keeps her optimistic side and just walk around while also searching for her brother. She walk nonstop until she bumped into someone which made her fall.

"Oh my god, I'm so sorry," the person gave her a hand so she could stand up.

"No I'm sorry, it's my fault no to look what's in front of me," Alice said apologetically.

She rub off the dust and look at the person then bow down her head and again said sorry.

"You look familiar somehow?" Alice said to the person.

"Oh, I was one of the performers," the person answered.

"The band one?" she ask confusingly.

"No, I perform for the Korean one. I know it sound like betraying my own country but this is my dream actually," he said.

She nod her head and ask, "Which group are you?"

He shot up his face and look at her with questions. "You don't know?" he ask and Alice shake her head without hesitation. "I'm one of the NCT," he answered.

"Oh, nice to meet you," she now bow down to him again. "I've never met someone else who could speak Japanese here apart from the crowd and my friends."

"It's okay, and nice to meet you too. My name is Nakamoto Yuta and you are?" he introduce himself.

"Alice. Just Alice," she answered and both of them shake their hands.

"Wait, are you the one who suggest this competition and the lady who walk up the stage and deliver the speech?" he ask.

"Yeah, since most of the people kinda decisive which country have the best song," she answered.

"Not a bad idea though, even I kinda vote for Japan team," he said and Alice laugh.

"I have no idea whether you're betraying Japan or not," she said then continuing her adorable laugh.

"Quite the irony right?" Yuta said and join in her laugh. "Anyway, this opportunity is really helpful as we promote ourselves and lot of people sponsored us. It's really a good idea though."

As both of them finished laughing and Yuta praise Alice's idea, she said, "Thank you very much for supporting it, let just hope that there will be another one next year."

"Yuta!" they heard someone shouted Yuta's name as the group is looking for him.

"Looks like that's my cue to go. Nice to meet you, see you again," Yuta said as he extend his hand to shake.

"Sure, let's meet and have a talk again," Alice said and shake his hand without hesitation with smile then both of them parted away.

As Alice switch her gaze to the crowds again trying to find her brother someone barge in again. "I see you having fun talking to our junior," Lay said with Kai and Jimin walking together.

"It's more likely like a friendly greetings," she said.

"You do know his older than you?" Kai ask.

"Of course judging by his look," Alice said.

"We kinda wonder why are you still 19-years-old and already got Ph.D," Jimin said.

"When you're a child whose willing and love to seek knowledge nonstop," Alice answered.
