I think...when they say hate it means love and it doesn't mean that love is also the pair of hate...well for me the pair of loving is leaving...for me you should not hate someone to let him/her go but you need to leave them and it doesn't mean that if you leave them you already hate them but you still love them with all your heart...because leaving with love can give you satisfaction that the one you love is already happy because of you.
