Chapter 19

I put on my headphones listening to 'God Gave Me You'. My legs started moving to the beat once I started my morning jog. "God gave me you for the ups and down." I sung.

After about a half hour jog I came back in the house, sweaty and need a shower. I took my headphones out while heading towards the kitchen. I heard laughter coming from there. I pushed the door to see my mother, a lady and a boy. "Um...hello?" it came out as a question more than a greeting. Their heads snapped towards me. "Bailey, oh dear you remember Stacy and her son Kevin?" I looked at the women beside my mother. She had red hair that's curled and she had green eyes. My eyes moved towards the boy, he was probably my age with blonde hair and blue eyes. I studied them for a minute then shook my head no. "No mother I'm Sorry I don't." I apologize. She smiled slightly, "It's be while since you seen each other, Stacy how long do you think?" Stacy thought for a moment before answering, "Since they were both 5 years old." Okay, that explain why I don't remember them. "Bailey, show Kevin around the town so he gets familiar to it. They are going to be here for while." I nodded, "Let me take a shower then we can okay?" I told Kevin. He nodded. I turned to head up stairs.

"How have you been?" Kevin asked me shoving his hands in his front pockets. I shrugged, "Good. You?" He nodded, "Okay, been busy getting ready to be King. You know how that feels soon to be Queen." He winked. I rolled my eyes, "I know. I'm 17 going to be 18. I just want to control my life not others." I sighed, "Yeah I hear you. Where are we?" I looked around at our surroundings, "The peek." His mouth made a O. "Jason pass the ball over here!" Some yelled. I snapped my head toward the fence where I saw Jason, Ryan and couple of other guys. "Great, the Devil's son and his black angels..." Kevin scoffed. "Yeah..."I trailed off. I looked over again to make eye contact with Jason. I smiled slightly at him. He smiled back but dropped once his eyes landed on Kevin. "So, Bailey we haven't hung out since you know we were 5 years old, maybe we could go to dinner as friends?" I gulped I looked over at Jason to see him trying to see what we are saying then I looked at Kevin. I nodded, "As friends." He smiled and little bit blushed on his cheek.

(Jason p.o.v)

I looked over at Bay to see what her and that guy are saying. His obvious flirting with her no doubt. She smiled and nodded her head at something. He smiled and blush? The fuck did he ask her?! He better not even think about going for my baby. We've been together for 11 months almost 12 months now. His not going to fuck that up a all. I tossed the ball to James and took out my IPhone.
