the first exam of the day.
i looked up from my science notes and glanced to my left. she sat next to me, in case i had any questions to ask. wanting to know a certain answer, i tapped her shoulder.
before i could touch her, i saw her leaning into her boyfriend's shoulder.
dejected and feeling left out, i retracted my arm and flipped the page. i didn't need to know the answer to that anyway.
