Before I could even say a few words of gratitude the ear screeching bell of horror rang. Great, I was late again. Gary hated it when I'm late he always says something about my talents are put to waste if I don't show up. To be honest half the time I don't even know what that old mans on about. But I will always look up to Gary he took me in and raised me like I'm his own. Even though there's so many other people living with him I always felt like his daughter and for that Gary always was a father figure to me.
"Thanks becca."
I managed to say while frantically putting on black vans to go with my black sweater.

So there I was standing in the training room with my hair sticking out in all different places; quite unique actually.
I heard a few sniggers behind me, but decided to ignore it until nearly all eyes were pointing to my direction with a look of amusement in them.
" You know this is training not a sleepover right."
Said a voice behind me I turned around to see a boy with bright green eyes, high checks bones with dark brown hair, Damian.
"What you on about." I questioned with a look of puzzlement. Then I followed his eyes to, oh no, I'm was still wearing my pyjama bottoms. I turned into what seemed 50 shades of pink.
I heard a light chuckle escape from his bright red lips so I replied with a savage looking death stare. If looks could kill he would've dropped dead right there and then. I quickly ran back to my incredibly messy room and changed into my black jeans. God that was embarrassing. On the way out I grabbed a shiny red apple and slung my backpack around one of my shoulders, which being the hopeless case I am, forget to take with me earlier that morning.
One I put my bag away, I made my way toward the ring with a smug looking person standing in the middle, with the amount of sweat that could fill a river.
---------------
"Aaaaaaaargh," I groaned as someone's fist made contact with my nose. I found myself on the ground with quite a lot of blood for my liking.
Crap like this always happens to me in training.
"Hah." I looked up to see Chloe, which just caused me to groan even more. Chloe is probably the most stuck up girl I know, thank god she isn't in my crew.
She reached her hand out to me, a smirk appeared on my lips, I pulled her hand down causing her to land on the ground with a thud that was so loud it echoed through out the whole training room.
I was given a pretty mean looking death stare," sorry did one of your nails chip." I said with amusement. By then Chloe's face looked like it was going to practically explode with anger.
I stepped out of the ring before I would have to get a nose job.
"Impressive." Said a smooth voice.
"Thank Damian." I replied with my dark blue eyes locking with his green eyes. We stayed like that for what seemed like hours none of us daring to look away.
"Avery." I turned around breaking our stare to see Gary.
"I need you to come to my office." He said with full authority.
I nodded my head in return.
"Damian if I'm gone too long I need you to lead our crew in training for today."
"Sure thing Avery."
As I walked towards Gary's office, through the transparent glass a figure caught my eye.
She had my jet black hair and unique dark blue eyes.
Was that...
My sister!
