" Dexter." I gasped with blood dripping around my mouth like a vampire.

"You meant to be dead." I cried how was the person that I saw die right before my very eyes be standing in front of me with a murderous blade.

I looked at him with wide eyes then heard his venom voice.

"Oh you fool, you really think I'm going to try and attack you when you're surrounded by hundreds of trained, so called gang members. "

I listened, as each word he spat, the more bewildered I got.

He carried on;

"That person was my twin brother, I knew he was going to die but to be honest I don't give a damn what happens to him."

Now that turned me on.

I grabbed his knife and kicked his face so he wasn't towering over me, creating a huge blood spillage.

"Do you know how it feels." I screamed at his face.

I spun him around so his back was against me and held his knife to his neck.

"To be betrayed." I carried on screaming, bringing the knife closer.

"How could you do that to your own brother, your own blood."

I was about to finish him of until I heard motor bikes coming to wards my way.

Dexters gang, the savages, just great.

There was too many of them for me to fight against so I had to run away as much as I wanted to kick their asses.

"You just like Alison." I whispered to Dexter, and with that I was gone.

----------------------------------

I was fiddling with my pendant siting on the balcony, thinking of the whole days occurrence. The Stars shined brightly in the sky, it was beautiful. Too bad it didn't match my dull mood, I was pretty depressed.

"Hey." I craned my neck to see Damian.

"Hey." I almost whispered with a weak smile.

"Gary's been trying to look for you, you know. Something about your sister and how she's a better person and well yeah you get the point."

I was mesmerised on how beautiful his emerald eyes looked with the stars making it twinkle.

When I came back to my senses I rolled my eyes.

"Yeah right." I replied

" Gary wants to put Alison in our crew." He blurted out

"What I practically screamed, she can't she's way older then us."

Damian looked at me with eyes full of sympathy

"Avery I'm so sorry,  but she's 16 only two years older then most of us."

I sighed,

"Do you really think she changed."

He put his hand on my shoulder,

"I don't know, Avery I really don't know."

Damian sat beside me looking at the stars and I just sat their thinking,

Why is life so complicated.

It's a question that I ask myself everyday,

Why is it so damn complicated.
