Punch, punch. Sweat was dripping down my flushed face, while my knuckles were on the verge of bleeding as I was training using a punching bag.
"Ava."I burrowed my eyebrows in confusion no one called me that for years, then I realised the soft voice came from Alison.
I haven't talked to her ever since I ran out of the office. I didn't know what to say but I couldn't just avoid her forever, she's my sister. I half smiled at her,
"Sooo... How have you been." I asked.
"Good, you."
"Never been better, especially without you. " I joked, trying to pull one of my famous smirks, but I'm pretty sure it turned out demented considering it was forced.
Alison rolled her eyes, "hilarious." She remarked.
She took a deep breath and said,
" I just want you to know everything I did. I regret every second of it. I wish I could just go back in time and fix it all. And besides the savages didn't work out for me, I'm so sorr..."
I cut her of,
"So you just came back because the savages didn't work out for you, what about me, what about Gary and what about..."
I abruptly came to a stop when I saw the look on Alison's face, I'm sure I saw a tear roll down but she quickly wiped it away,
" Do you really think that I came back just because a gang didn't work out for me. I came back for you for everyone I missed this place and I especially missed you." She said with such a broken voice that I almost felt sorry for her.
I looked into her big dark blue eyes that had a layer of shine collecting at the bottom, that were so sincere, that were so entrancing.
I replied,
" you can't expect things to be as they used to be as soon as you come back it's gonna take some time but you still my sister."
I sighed ,
"I can't stay mad at you forever."
Trying to read her emotions I took in her expression but before I could decide what she was feeling, I instantly felt two slim arms around my neck, I smiled and hugged Alison back, maybe things can go back to how they used to be. I buried my face into her soft dark hair that smelt of strawberries, I deeply inhaled it, I'm never going to take that smell for granted ever again.
Once I let go I turned around to make contact with the familiar breath taking green eyes. I'm sure y'all know they belong to Damian's by now. But instead of seeing his usual bright smile that lit up his whole face and that still managed to keep his cool look I saw a very worried face that almost looked anxious.
"You're alright."
I questioned while slightly raising my eyebrows.
"Yeah, I'm fine." He replied but still had me confused as he was shifting uncomfortably from one foot to another.
Deciding to ignore it, I walked towards the water fountain with my hair extremely messy. I noticed hazel brown hair sweeping through the gap.
----------------------
"Yo, becca." I greeted.
" Hey, sooo how's Damian."
" nothing is going on between us." I replied in an irritated tone.
" Oh, really, Damian, Damian, Damiaaaaaaan"
" Shut up." I snapped.
I ran through the corridor . Rebecca's chant was echoing through the hallways and suddenly I bumped into a hard chest. I looked up to see none other then Damian himself, who was smirking like crazy.
Oh dear lord.
