John's POV
Our parents can be very funny. I was summoned after work to a meeting by my parents.  I silently signalled to my youngest  sister, Nkem on the purpose of our gathering but she was just as clueless as I was. My people, even as a psychologist, I was unable to read their minds, like you would have wanted. The misconception is that psychologists are MIND READERS but we are not! I beg to disagree.
My father clears his throat and stares at me. Johnson, when are you going to give us our own grandchild? I was just experiencing different feelings inside of me: I was relieved that it's not that he has cancer or that he is dying and I was happy at the same time.
Actually dad,I have found the girl of my choice but it is complicated. How complicated can it be,John?,my mother asked.
I did not say anything because that has always been a touchy subject for me. How do I explain to my parents? They won't understand. It is not as if I am gamophobic or irresponsible but the issue is beyond me.
