How we fell

(No, Nova does NOT have a crush on his sister. Nova is just VERY over protective.)

Beginning background:

Nova and I have been living in Loxio Town for a long time. I think that we have lived here for 14 years. I'm 17 now and Nova is 19.Ever since we moved here we have lived on the streets. Nova did his best to get a job and he did his absolute best taking care of me. He was and still is my protective big brother. I never knew my parents, i haven't even seen a picture of them, but Nova has got to be the next best thing. He spent all his time when i was little to teach me how to read and write. He even brought books back from the local library for me to read. He taught me everything my mind could absorb and i was DETERMINED to learn everything he taught me. One day we went to the park to play hide and seek, then some bullies came out and pushed me around, gave me a hard time. No matter what they did, I never fought back. No matter how many times i got pushed down, i got back up. Nova always came to save me, even if he got hurt himself. He was the only one who would protect me. Though all that was when i was younger, now I'm 17. I never hated anything until one day, when I was 14, I was at the park with my brother. He had to leave for work so he said, "Don't stay too much longer. After you're done playing, go to the back alley of where I work. Ok? You remember where it is, right?" I said back, "Yes, i remember brother. I won't stay too long. Have fun!" Shortly after he left i was about to get off the swings when, "Hey, boys, take a look at what i found!" The bullies came but didn't act like they normally would. Instead they huddled together and talked about something. When they turned back to me their leader said, "Hey there sweet-cheeks. How's it going? Hows about we make a deal: We wont hurt you or your bro if you become my girlfriend. I can protect you if in return you give me your body." At that moment I knew exactly what he was talking about. I knew that I had developed before others so my chest was a lot bigger than other girls. Same goes for my butt as well. I absolutely hated my body that day. I politely declined his offer and left the park. That memory has stayed with me since that day.

/Time Skip To When Amoly Is 17/

I was at the park alone because Nova had to go to the super market to get some food with the money he got from his job. I don't work, i just can't get a job. So I have to rely on my big brother to do everything. Hey I'm not complaining, I like to be free, its really nice to be lazy and go to the park everyday. I don't get sunburns either. Its awesome. I like to spend my time on the swings. If you close your eyes and imagine yourself in the sky, it just feels like you're flying. I would love to fly. Though my thoughts are interrupted by, "Hey, sweetheart~" I open my eyes to see the full team of boy bullies. The leader was in front of everyone, of course. He said, "Ok, this is how today is going to go: You either become my girl and we protect you, You say no and we hurt you and your brother, or you say no, we hurt you and your brother and then you both get out of this town. What's it going to be?" I was shocked at the last one. Get out of the town?? He can't be serious. . . right? While I'm thinking I see something out of the corner of my eye move. It was on the path that lead into town. Someone was coming this way, it was Nova. The park was semi-big and there were only two exits. One lead into town, the other to the mountain. Go to the mountain path, they won't follow you. Hurry grab Nova and run! Something in the back of my head screamed. What have i got to loose? I suddenly got up and ran to my brother. He was a lot closer than he was the last time i looked. I grabbed his hand and ran the long way around the bullies. "Amoly what are you doing?!?" Nova said while following me. "Please brother, just trust me!" I replied. The bullies were yelling but i ignored it as we ran out of town and to the mountain. We soon came across a cave and sat down, tired from running. As i got my breath i looked around. There were stones on the top of the cave. Not just any stones, they glowed. Blue and pink were the only light in the cave. "Wow, Nova its so pretty." i said looking up at he ceiling. I stood up and walked farther into the cave. The glowing stones grew brighter the farther i went. Nova was behind me looking at the beautiful sight when all of a sudden the floor gave out from under me. Nova immediately tried to grab me. . . . it was too late. I watched the horror crawl onto Nova's face as I fell. Then I see Nova do something I know he would never do. . . . .

He jumped.
