We bowed to the crowd
I felt so proud
I looked at you and beamed
You returned it back and leaned in
I was alarmed
My eyes went wide
But when your lips just brushed on my forehead
I was awed but at the same time disappointed
We went to our reserved seats
I was still mulling over that freaky moment
I got alarmed thinking you'd kiss me
But felt disappointed when you didn't really
Across the table I saw you looking at me
Just then, I felt that warm feeling spreading inside me
My heart swelled just by looking at your beauty
Just then, I realized why you didn't really kiss me
I knew you're scared
But I knew you cared
Scared of deeply falling
Scared of doing it again- failing
I reached out and took your hand
You looked at me with emotions I couldn't understand
I gave you my best smile that's reassuring
Squeezed your hand and said, "Don’t be afraid of falling"
