3rd Person POV 🖤

Luke clutched the doctor's note in his hand. A note full of everything he had been trying to hide for almost a year. His heart was thumbing and a lump in his throat had become bigger by the second.

His mind was screaming at him at high volumes; almost as if they were making sure that he heard them.

"You're making a mistake!"

"He's going to leave you!"

"No one wants a fat whore in their life!!"

A single tear slid out of his baby blue eyes. Maybe they were right; maybe he was making a mistake.

The day had come to tell him and he was scared shitless.

He knew coming out about his problems to Calum was going to have another person that was willing to help him get through this nightmare.

Opening his car door and stepping out, his bottom lip trembled. The song he had heard on his radio moments before lightly rung through his head.

"I'm alone, I'm alone...again. "

"Calum's apartment is number 249, 4th floor...." He thought in his head as he locked his gray Honda behind him.

It was pointless to even try and hide it anymore. Calum knew about his weight loss, he knew about all the long sleeved apparel he wears. So why even try?

It was worth a shot anyway.

~

Luke knocked on Calum's door as he bit his lower lip. Luke had the key to the older boy's apartment, but he didn't want to barge in.

The door handle turned, revealing an anxious man behind it.

"H-hi." Luke almost whispered.

"Hi..."

You could basically cut the tension with a knife. The blonde boy's breathing had picked up as his hands started fidgeting.

"Are.. are you okay?" The brunette asked as he let Luke through the doorway.

"N-no...not really." A single tear rolled down his rosy cheeks; pulling his hands up to cover his face.

He was breaking down in front of Calum, something he had never really done before fully.

Calum wrapped his arms around Luke, whispering softly the things Luke wanted to here into his ear.

"If you don't want to tell me..you don't have to."

"But, but I want to, I knew I should've but I never got to it and-"

Calum quieted the boy, running his rather large hands through Luke's silky blonde hair.

"Do...do you want me go first?"

Luke nodded his head, wiping his tears off with the back of his hand as they both sat down.

"When I was six ," Calum started off.

"I was pretty ruthless. Whenever I wanted to do something, I did it."

"Sounds like you..." Luke chuckled. He pulled the ends of his sweater over his hand, wrapping his arms around himself.
