Potions

I woke up early so I could go have a shower. Once I finished I got dressed, grabbed my books and put them in my school bag and walked out of my dorm, it was early in the morning so I knew I won't see anyone.

On my way to the great hall I walked into a wall.

"Ouch!" I screamed as i fell on the floor

"Oh I am so sorry I should have been looking where I was going, I didn't know I would bump into someone"

I looked up and saw a boy who had brown hair, hazel eyes and was tall.

He bent down and helped me up.

"Don't be sorry I wasn't looking were I was going either, so don't blame yourself" I said smiling at him. I looked at hear tie an saw he was a Huflepuff.

"I'm Cedric by the way Cedric Digery" Cedric said stretching out his hand.

"Nice to meet you, I'm Serena, Serena Lupin" I replied shaking his hand.

"Oh isn't professor Lupin your dad" he asked while we walked to the great hall

"Yep that's dad" I looked up smiling

"So what year are you in Cedric"

"Oh 6year you?"

"I'm in my 3rd year but it is my first year at hogwarts" I replied

"So did you transfer schools or was you home schooled"

"I transferred and the school was in France, Beauxbatons "

"Oh I'm guessing you prefer hogwarts then" Cedric asked while smirking.

"Hogwarts 100%, in Beauxbatons that was the worst 2 years of my life" I said smiling

"Well I promise that Hogwarts will deffo be better, and if you have any problems or want to talk came and find me ok" he said smiling

"Yer I will remember that, we'll see you later then" I said smiling as we entered the great hall

"Yer see you later" he smiled and winked.

Aww he is so nice, I think that is the only person except Victor Krum to be nice to me.

Well I guess I get on better with guys then.

I sat down in my sit and graded some toast.

Well what do I have today, double potions, charms, muggle study's and divination. well divination is crossed off, never going back I that class.

People came in and sat down.

I saw Hermione and she was looking for someone, I wonder who?

She started to walk where I was sitting.

"Hey Serena, would you like to walk to potions with me, Harry and Ron?"

"Yer thanks Hermione" I said smiling at her.

"Well the bell is going to go in 5 minutes, so do you want to go now"

"Yer sure.... so where are harry and Ron?"I asked I couldn't see them.

"They left me again, I swear I will kill them one day, they always just go off" hermione said annoyed.

"Well why don't we walk to classes we have together, I mean I don't have anyone and if Harry and Ron keep ditching we don't we go together?" I asked hermione. her face lit up an smiled

"Really, you would want to walk with me?" she asked.

"Yer well why not, you an Cedric are the only people who have spoken to me, so why not"

"Oh well I tell you why later ok, because we need to hurry"

"Yer ok"

After that we speed walked all the way to potions.

I sat next to hermione.

We waited for 10 minutes after the bell went.

"Right class, it's the same rules as the years before, if you need them repeated then I will put you in detention."

"oh finally, here comes the arse" I whispered, so only I could hear.

"What was that miss.Lupin, do you have something to say" Snape asked walking to me desk.

"no, nothing." I answered

"Well I deferentially heard something escaped those Lips, so tell me miss.Lupin or I should message you father and put you in a weeks detention" He replied. really fretting me, with a letter and a weeks detention, oh please i got worse then that a Beauxbatons.

"Like I said SIR nothing" I replied keeping a straight face.

He just stared at me and smiked.

"Well miss.Lupin I think you earn a weeks detention, a letter to you father and 20 house points from your house now this is not a very good start, is it miss.Lupin" Snape droned on and on

"Well sir I had worse, so thank-you for your 'Punishment' " I smirked putting air quotes around punishment.

"Miss.Lupin I will not be spoken to like that, so how about a months detention, how is that!" he shouted, oh god here we go.

"Well sir that sounds more like it, but I am still not scared" I replied smiling

"Just like you mother aren't you, she didn't see what was coming to her either, but you got her bad temper, and horrible stubbornness, I am shocked that you weren't placed in Slytherin, your filthy mother was known as the Slytherin princess, but I guess you are just weak, Low life and perfetic just like your father!" he shouted, that is it!

"HOW DARE YOU BRING MY MOTHER AND FATHER INTO THIS, YOU HAVE NO RIGHT IN ANY WAY TO BRING THAT UP, YOU STUPID OLD BAT, GREASY MONKEY AND I THINK YOU SHOULD LEARN NOT TO JUMP TO CONCLUSIONS, NOW I KNOW WHAT YOUR CHILDHOOD WAS LIKE, YOU DON'T SEE ME BRING THAT UP DO YOU, NOW IF I WAS YOU I WOULD KEEP YOU MOUTH SHUT!!" I shouted, I grabbed my bag and stormed out of class, I kept hearing my name telling me to come back. I was not going back to that class. how dare he bring those things up. but what did he mean by my mum, she was a muggle, so how?

Only one guess, I was lied to, oh what joy.

I ran to the black lake and put my head on my knees, crying. I hated crying, it made me feel week and useless. I heard footsteps behind me but I guess ignored them.

"Hey Serena, you ok" I know who that was, it was Cedric

"Yer I am fine Cedric"

"Well you don't seem fine, why don't you tell about it, I'm willing to listen"

"No it's fine, I shouldn't be putting my troubles in your brain"

"Now come on I want to listen, tell me and you will fill better and I won't tell a soul" I smiled at me.

"Ok I will, don't blame me if you fill trouble after this" I said smiling.

I told Cedric what happened when I was a Beauxbatons, about my mum(how she was a muggle) and told him what just happen. he was right I do fill better now. Cedric just sat there listening, hugging me on the shoulders. it was nice just to be listen to, when I tell dad what I fill like he just buts in all the time. but with Cedric he listened.

Me and Cedric just sat there all day talking about our childhood, how we lived and so on.

I can tell that me and Cedric are going to be best mates, I already fill like he is a older brother.
