Platform9 and 3/4

Serena-

Well today I'm going to Hogwarts.
I hope I will make friends there and it won't be like Beauxbatons, either wise I'm just going to leave.
As I put my trunk and Shadow in the front-room, I went to see how dad is because let's just say the moon was only 2 nights ago I think. I knocked on his door, he had his head in his hands sitting on the edge of the bed. I wondered over, sitting next to him, he had the letter on the other side of him. The letter was about why my mum did not want me. Whenever he sore it or looked at it, it always made him upset and would normally cry. I took the letter and put it back in the box, where my baby things are and put the box back on top of the wardrobe.
I turned to him and knelt in front of him
"No need to cry or get upset you know, don't punish yourself because mum didn't care and was a selfish, horrible and the most worst mum ever! you raised me, you cared for me, you love me, you make sure I don't go hungry and you make sure I am warm and happy, so don't let her and her letter upset you,she was only a muggle ok, she doesn't understand, I love you"
Dad just stared at me and braced me into a hug, he then kissed my forehead and whispered.
"Thankyou Serena you really are the most bravest, caring, sweetest girl I have ever meet, and I can not believe you are my little angle, and I love you too"
We both got up and made are way down stairs into the front room.
"Right Serena you got everything, because we won't come back until Christmas"
"Yes I'm sure the only things left in my bedroom is, my bed, wardrobe, some clothes, muggle books and that"
"Ok now we only got 15 minutes so we better go"
He lifted his arm and I took it. when I opened my eyes we were a King Cross Station. Dad told me what to do, just run at the bricks between 9 and 10 and you will be at platform 9 and 3/4. As I spotted the platform 9 and 10 me and dad ran straight at the wall, me waiting inpacked closed my eyes, when I opened them I was staring at the Hogwarts express. Me and dad took our trunks and bored the train. We found a compartment and placed our trunks at the top.
"Right, I'm just going to doze off and catch up with some sleep, stay safe and don't leave the compartment unless you need the toilet or you need to change, ok Serena"
"Yes dad, don't worry i will just read"
"Good girl, see you when I wake up"

30 minutes later the compartment door slid open, and in the door way stood the bushy brown hair girl from Diagon Alley and the ginger hair boy as well but there was other boy with them he had jet black hair, round glasses and a lighting bolt scare.
"Oh sorry, would you mind if we joined you as all the compartments are full" the bushy girl said.
"Yer not at all, do come in"
"I'm Hermione Granger and this is Ron Weasley with the ginger hair and that's Harry Potter the one with black hair, nice to meet you whats your name?"
"Nice to meet you all my name is Serena, Serena Lupin"
"Nice to meet you" they all said
As they sat down Ron said
"Who's that man there"
"Preffesser R.J.Lupin" said Hermione, how did she know that
"Who did you know that" I asked quickly
"It's on his suit case" she replied.
Oh yer how silly of me
"So who are your parents, mine are muggles, I'm a muggleborn, Ron is a pureblood and well Harry he is half I think" hermione asked, I don't know why but I got a filling she is rather noisy
"Well if you haven't already guessed, thats my dad" pointing to him
"And my mum is a muggle born  and my dad is a pureblood"
"Why is your dad here then" hermione asked like I said nosey
"Oh he is a new teacher here, he is going to tech Denfense Against the Dark Arts"
"Wow he must be brave, people say the job is cursed as they only last for a year" spoke Ron for the first time
"Well yer, I think he is, he has raised a child all by himself and is the best dad ever, so yer he is brave" I replied before hermione could chip in.
We sat in silence for a while, dad still asleep, me reading my book, Ron and Harry eating and Hermione just sitting there thinking.
Until the train just stopped.
"Are we there yet or does this always happen" I asked as nobody said any thing
"No this doesn't always happen, I wonder why?" Hermione replied yet again.
Just as I was about to look out of the window every thing outside went foggy, the window froze and the water dad had turned to ice, I knew one creature who could do this and that was a dementer.
