Happy Mother's Day! Now go tell your mom you love her :)

I stood confused by his comment. What does he mean by "appropriate attire"!? I thought what I wore today was pretty "appropriate". I zoomed out from my thoughts, and proceed to close the door.

As I was about to head up stairs, my father called for me. I headed to the living, where he was watching the news.

"Yes, appa?" I questioned.

"Byeon-ah. I forgot got to tell you that in our office, employees aren't allow to wear jeans. We have to look profession from top to bottom. Usually penalties are given, but since you're new and the fact that I didn't tell you. I'll let it slide. Though your my daughter, I still have to have to treat you like my other employees," my father informs me.

Ohhh, that's what he means by appropriate attire. "Yes appa," I replied to him. I quickly made my way and sat next to him. I took his arm and laid my head on his shoulder. "Appa, do I really have to marry that jerk?" I asked while I swing his arm gently.

"Well that's my wish. I'm not going to force you. It's just that you're getting older, and soon you'll be out in the real world. Leaving the nest your appa and eomma created for you. I just want somebody to be with you when we aren't there anymore," my father said with a sigh. He pulled me into a unexpected hug. He silently cried in my shoulder.

"Time has its limits," my father goes on. I knew where he was going with this, so I cut him off.

"Shhhhh. Don't say it," I didn't want to face reality. I pulled him tighter; didn't even notice warm tears were rolling down my face.

"Jungkook is a really great guy," my father trails off. "He's someone I trust dearly," my father continued. He started to gently pat my back," it's your choice." He pulled away from the hug, and started to wipe my tears away.

I've never went against my parent's will. Even thought I've always given the choice to choose if I want to or not. I just didn't want to disappoint them, and I'm not going to this time.

"Appa, I agree." I turned to him, since he has gotten up from the couch. Making his way to his room.

My father turns back and gives me a befuddled look. "What?"

"I'm going to marry Jeon Jungkook"

I woke up and got ready for work. I remember not to wear jeans. Today I decided to drive to the company instead of getting a ride from my father. I didn't want others to think me as his daughter, instead just one of his employee.

I bid them goodbye, and left early for work. I drove to one of my favorite coffee shop to grab a coffee.

When I opened my door to my office, I almost chocked on my coffee. There were ten thick stacks of files left on my desk. My eyes widen, and I quickly placed my stuff down on my desk.

I flipped through all of the files, noticing that mostly they were notes. There wasn't a letter or a note left behind informing me what to do with these files. I took the stack and headed to the office next to mine.

I dropped the files onto his desk. I was waiting for him to look at me, but he continued typing on his computer. As if I didn't exist. "Ya!" I yelled.

"Did I ask you to come in? No. Did I ask you to speak? No. Do I want to speak to you? No." He said in a monotone.

"Can you at least be polite to me for once!" I said with frustration.

He turned his chair towards my direction, and looked at me. I've never noticed how pretty his eye was.

"May I help you Ms. Jung? Or are you going to keep staring," he pulled me out from my thoughts.
