I’m looking around
In this new world
And I finally realize
It’s not so hard
I open my eyes
For the first time
And suddenly now
Things seem fine
I’m making my own light
I’m finding my way
This feeling of confidence
Is here to stay
I’m not dependent
On anything else
It’s fine, because I know
I can trust myself
So here I am
But I’m not alone
I’m surrounded by people
In a place I call home
And I’m making my own light
I’m finding my way
My life is now that much better today.
