When we arrived at Sam’s house, Harry put me down on the couch while Sam ran to the kitchen to get some ice for my ankle. “I’m so glad that you’re safe and finally home,” Sam said to me after placing the ice and a towel on my ankle. “I’m glad to be home. So I have a question for you,” I said. Sam looked up and waited for me to respond and I smiled. “What are you doing for your birthday?” I asked. “Nothing and I don’t want to do anything except for having you and the boys over for a bit of brownies, raspberry ice cream, and movies,” she replied and I dropped my smile, even though I’m still throwing her a surprise birthday party. “Fine I’ll be a good girl and come to your house,” I said, “Anyway, what time is it?” they looked around to find a clock or something. “It’s six fifty, why?” Niall said. My eyes went wide and I tried to get up but Harry kept me down. “What’s the rush love?” he asked. “I have to get back to the Fleetwood Park so I can go home, I kind of want to sleep in my own bed, and you guys are welcome to come with me if you want, it is a pretty big house and I can get lonely really quick,” I said. “Why don’t you just stay here?” Sam asked. “Because I want to go sleep in my gigantic king sized bed, and I also have dogs that I want to see too,” I replied. Sam sighed and got up to go get her keys so we could leave. “NO!” I shouted, “Someone just give me a piggy back ride to the park, and we will go when my driver gets there.” Sam put down her keys and got a jacket. Harry went upstairs to grab his jacket too since he left it on the floor of Sam’s room. “Need a ride?” someone asked and I turned my head to see Niall standing there all flustered. I smiled at him and nodded my head yes, so he turned around and I somehow managed to hop on his back without hurting myself.
I leaned my head on Niall’s shoulder and saw Zyan glaring at me so I looked the other way. What was his deal, I come back and suddenly he hates me, well I can’t say suddenly because he has never liked me, and I don’t think that Louis did either. I sighed and saw Harry coming down the stairs and he looked pissed off, but kept quiet. “Ready to go?” Sam asked and everyone shouted yes in unison and we walked out the door.
“If I get to heavy you can put me down then and I’ll walk on my own,” I told Niall after we crossed the street. “You aren’t heavy and I don’t mind giving you a piggy back ride, it is fun and sort of relaxing in a way,” he said. “Thank you Niall,” I whispered in his ear. Niall smiled and nodded his head. When I looked up we were already by turkey hill and I blinked in surprise. I didn’t even realize that we were walking that fast, where did the time go! I shrugged my shoulders and looked to see if anyone was behind me, and there was. It was a group of boys just starting at me. “Niall, I feel like they are following us,” I said to him as I turned my head back around. Niall looked behind and saw them too and got a weird vibe coming from them. “Why don’t I pick up the pace then, so we can get there without any problems,” he said and I nodded my head. We got into the middle of the group and told them what was going on and I heard Zyan grumble under his breath and I bit my tongue so that I didn’t explode on him.
I turned my head around again and saw that the group was still following us and also picked up the speed. “I’m getting scared,” I said and tightened my grip on Niall’s shoulders. “Hold on tighter, I’m going to start running,” he said to me and I did as I was told. Niall started running and so did everyone else. “You can run Kayla, but you can never hide from us!” someone shouted and I turned my head to see who it was, and that’s when I saw him, Johnny, we used to date and when he found out that when I turned eighteen I was going to be rich he became obsessed with me and I had to leave him and run away. I left him a note saying it was over and that I never wanted to see him again. That’s how I ended up with that other horrible family and when my life did a one-eighty again and changed forever. Though if it wasn’t for him I would have never met Harry or Sam, or anyone of these boys, so in a way, I’m glad that I left him and came out here.
We reached the limo and Harry threw open the door while Niall got me inside and everyone pilled in too. “Where to, Madame?” the driver asked. “Home please,” I replied and we left.
