Let's eat! (Chapter 9)

Guanlin POV:
Angel was continuously cooking after cooking. She's so adorable.. just look at her ^^. So right now, Angel was taste testing a broth she made and I'm guessing it was a little to bitter because she made the cutest sour face ever! Cutie .. hehe..

When I looked back up at her I realised she was rubbing her finger, and it looked pretty red: looked burnt to me.. aw this girl, she's too busy caring about me than herself right now.

I went over to her and halted her cooking and grabbed her hand to closely examine her finger, and yes it was a burn, and it looked hella painful

Angelina POV
I was cooking a broth for soup and I accidentally slipped my finger against the pan that was boiling hot. I flinched a little but was glad Guanlin didn't see because I probably looked like an idiot. 

I never knew burns sting this much .. ouch.. oh well that's not my priority I mean.. I guess it will get better somehow? Whatever whatever I need to continue cooking.

When I was about to stir the broth, Guanlin came over to me and gently grabbed my hand and a look of concern covered his face.

Guanlin: Angel, you hurt yourself real bad, doesn't it sting?

The truth is it does sting... but I don't wanna look like a complete idiot..

Angel: N-no!! Uh.. it just you know.. stings a little, just a little! No biggie!

Guanlin: *sighs* yah, Angel, I can tell when you lie *chuckles* you make it so obvious. *he walked over to the cupboard and got a medical kit out* okay, sit down here and I'll treat it otherwise it'll get worse.

I sat down willingly because honestly the look of sincereness covering Guanlin's face reassured me and comforted me for some reason. I barely met him, yet I could trust him.
Ah idk what I'm saying .

He took my hand and started applying an ointment gently, being cautious if it stung me. And it did, but I wasn't gunna be an idiot about it so I just kept in the pain, and I've felt worse in my life before so I just concealed it.

He then wrapped a bandage around it and fastened it tightly, making sure to clean it before and swiftly packed away the kit.

Guanlin: okayy, all done! Next time, take care of yourself alright? *smiles*

Wow... I was meant to be helping him yet he ended up helping me.. this boy..

I thanked him and got up to start finishing up the cooking but Guanlin insisted that he would help me and I couldn't really say no.

I handed Guanlin eggs to crack for me to make a savory pancake, I mean you can't go wrong with eggs can you?

When he started cracking them.. I was laughing my head off, he kept on crushing egg shell into the mixture and was cracking like mad it was so funny omg
