Chapter 10

The bus stopped at my station and I knew all hell would break lose when I got home. It took me about 10mins to walk from the stop to my house. I put my key into the door lock and twisted it. My heart was beating 100 times per second. When I opened the door all I saw was my parents staring really hard at me. My mom asked me " Why are you so late?" " I wasn't paying attention to the time." I said. My dad didn't say a word. He just looked at me and walked back up stairs. I felt like he was disappointed in me. My mom was just mad. My mom told me to go up stairs. So I went up stairs and went into my room. I knew my parents were talking about me being late. I laid down on my bed waiting for my parents to give me my punishment. My parents talked so long I fell asleep. I heard a knock on my door. I got up and opened it. It was my mom. Mom said " Honey sit down." In my head I was saying " Ok." So I sat down on the bed. My mom took a deep breath so I knew it wasn't something good.
