Popee sat at the table, happily watching Kedamono dance away.
But... after a while, it got quite boring, and lonely again. "Ugh, forget it!" he blurted out. He stood up and headed over to the wolf once again.
He bumped hips with the other, to kind of give him a bit of a surprise. Kedamono looked over, and his expression brightened up. "Hey, you came to dance!" the wolf exclaimed. "Well, duh," Popee replied.
"I want to show off who I get to dance with."
Kedamono happily hugged the other tightly, before looking up at him. His face (mask) gleaming.
"Do you mind if we go somewhere... less crowded?" Popee asked.
"Yeah, sure," Kedamono said.
Popee smiled, now holding out his hand. "Then, won't you join me?"
Kedamono nodded his hand, taking the clown's hand in his paw, and walked away from the crowd, Popee quickly snatching his drink from the table as they passed by it.
And, so, they moved away from the people. Kedamono didn't really care, as long as he was with somebody, he just kept on dancing. To be honest, he didn't need anyone else to make him feel as comfortable as he did now. Popee still didn't want to dance, but it was okay.
The clown pulled his pink bunny hood out of his pocket, and put it on. A small sigh of relief escaped his lips as he smiled softly to himself. "I feel much better..." he mumbled. He looked over at the wolf. "Hey, I'm ready to go," he said, but Kedamono just gave him an angry look.
"What?" Popee raised an eyebrow.
"Your hat? Really?" Kedamono huffed.
"Yeah. You can't expect me to go to some dance for hours and not let me to slip into more comfortable clothing, Keda.
"Besides, it's just my hat. It's not like I'm wearing my suit under this or anything..."
Popee averted his eyes from the others painted ones, but Kedamono could tell when he was lying, so it was no use.
"Whatever, we can leave whenever you want," Kedamono sighed.
"Okay, welp... I'm gonna take a bathroom break real fast, so..."
"Fine."
-----------------
Next thing you know, twenty minutes have gone by since Popee walked into the restroom. So, Kedamono decided to walk into there himself.
He saw Popee, his arms folded, just standing there. His dark, navy blue eyes staring at the ground, pondering.
"There you are...
"What are you doing in here? I got worried..." he said.
Popee turned around to look at him, and a soft smile spread across his face. "Did I ever mention how much I love you?"
He grabbed Kedamono's paw, earning a small gasp from him as the clown pinned him against the wall. "Like... a lot?"
He brought up his mask a bit, just to the point where his muzzle was visible, and placed his lips on the other's. (Popee you goddamn furry.)
Soon, the kiss started getting more intense, more heated. Tongue was added, faces were getting warm, as the two put more passion into the action.
Kedamono pulled away and looked at the door for a moment, a puzzled look on Popee's face. "What?" the clown asked.
After a moment, Kedamono responded.
"Nothing... just thought I heard somebody."
Popee chuckled, and they continued what they were doing.
That is, until Popee began unbuttoning Kedamono's tux in the heat of the moment.
"A-Actually, wait," Kedamono interrupted.
"I... I want to go home."
Popee nodded, showing he understood, and buttoned the shirt back up. He locked his arm with the wolf's, smiling, and walked out of the restroom.
Turns out the dance was a bit more fun than Popee thought it was going to be...
