The Goddess

Chapter 11~The Goddess Awakens

Finally finding some stairs i proceeded up on them but quietly and carefully,as i reached the top of the stairs there were more men patrolling the area but these ones were vampires,i didn't know at the time if vampires had such good hearing.

Continuing to make my way almost to the entrance but not noticing that i was being watched,soon reaching the entrance sean appeared infront of me smirking then grabbed my arm and pinned me to a concrete wall.

Sean : "I must say well done for making this far goddess but you will not escape this time"

He said i began to struggle,seeing him reveal his fangs my fear struck throughout my body,continuing to break free of his grip i could see his fangs coming closer and closer to me until patch arrived.

Sean : "I knew you would come guard dog why couldn't you leave us alone!"

Leah : "Patch!"

I yelled to him then sean growled and handed me over to a vampire who appeared who held my arms behind my back.

Sean : "Your becoming a pest guard dog!"

Patch : "I could say the same thing about you and let her go sean your beef is with me not her"

Sean laughed and then unsheathed his sword which was hidden under his shirt,pointing it towards him,patch unsheathed his,as he backed away to create space between them.

Both of them charged at each other and swung their swords as the blades hit against each other making a metallic screeching sound which pierced throughout the building.

Leah : "Patch..you must win.."

I mumbled softly under my voice as tears fell a little but quickly shook them away,as i continued to watch the match between the two of them they were equal also when they fought it looked like they were dancing as samurai warriors.

Sean : "Not bad guard dog but this is not the end!"

Patch : "We will see about that"

Once again both of them jumped back and dashed towards each other but this time as patch went in for a slash,sean dodged it with a grin and swung his sword upwards managing to catch patch on his side.

Leah : "Patch!!!"

I screamed out to him as he stumbled back a little clutching his side,then growling at sean who was going to deliver a final blow,but he dodged and landing a spiral slash on him which sent him stumbling back and losing so much blood.

Sean : "I will be back guard dog and the goddess will belong to my master!"

He sighed panting heavily then vanished,the rest of them vanished aswell the vampire that was holding my arms behind my back vanished aswell.

Patch : "Leah are you okay"

I nodded and wanted to approach him but then his eyes suddenly began to change,i felt scared to approach him and quickly fled out of the building as soon erick,oliver and lucinda appeared.

Lucinda could see the change in patch's eyes and knew it was not a good sign so she vanished with him as erick and oliver hurried after me.

I ran down the street ignoring the people but some were not normal,continuing to run there were a man and a woman one had cat ears and other had wolf ears,one had elf ears and so on.

I arrived at the lake finally stopping and panting heavily then looked out towards the distance of the lake,tears began to fall down my cheeks not stopping.

Leah : "Why am i seeing them..why do i feel different..why do i--"

Then it happened the pain started to come,clutching my head i fell to my knees screaming in pain as images began to by in my head,why was this happening i cried hopefully someone could tell me then i fainted but before i hit the ground i felt someone catch in their arms and eventually passed out.
