Chapter 13~The Grand Ball

Oliver & Erick : "Happy Birthday leah!"

I smiled as oliver and erick placed two some presents onto my desk,picking up then unwrapping it,inside was a black box once opening it up there was a broach shaped as a flower.

Leah : "Oh erick its beautiful thank you"

Erick : "Heh is nothing special"

He said rubbing the back of his head blushing slightly,then i opened up oliver's present revealing a beautiful story book that my birth mother used to read to me when i was a baby.

It felt strange being back in school since i ever found out that i was a goddess and learnt everything about my mother.

Lucinda : "Happy birthday leah i hope you like it"

Hearing a familiar voice i look up to see lucinda with a smile she handed me a white long small box with a ribbon on it,untying the ribbon and opening the box my breath was taken from me to see a beautiful charm bracelet.

Leah : "Oh lucinda..i love it thank you!"

Lucinda : "Your welcome and call me luce if you want"

Leah : "I will thank you and anyone seen patch?"

We looked around in the class then my eyes got covered by someone's hands it felt warm and soft and i knew it was his hand.

Teacher : "Okay class time to get to your seats"

Patch removed his hands then kissed my cheek and went to take his seat next to lucinda,erick sat behind me and oliver sat next to me.

That night i was upstairs getting as my parents wanted to hold a grand ball for me to celebrate my birthday.

Lucinda ; "There all done"

I nodded and smiled with lucinda's help i gotten ready much faster then usual,once ready we proceeded out of my room and down the hallway,then down the stairs the boys were waiting patiently,they looked so handsome in their tuxedo's.

Patch : "Ready my lady"

Leah : "yes my love i am ready"

I took his hand then we walked to the ballroom,oliver offered his arm to lucinda who took it with a smile then they proceeded to the same room as me and patch,erick followed while staying on guard.

Me,patch,lucinda and oliver proceeded into the ballroom then onto the dance floor,as we began to dance through out the music we changed partners and returned to our same partner once again,until the music finished.

Lucinda ; "I will get some drinks"

Oliver : "I will help you"

Both of them walked off to head to the table where the drinks were,patch led me out onto the balcony then turning around i felt something placed around my neck.

Touching it i could feel a heart shaped pendant that my mother had around her neck once,turning to patch with a smile as he smiled back then slowly we kissed with passion under the moonlight on the balcony.
