A/N: Ohhhhhh myyyy, I am SO thankful for all the support from everyone! I've not written for a long time so this feels kind of poor, but it's been so great to continue this book! Ugh, Cheryl Blossom, QUEEEEEN. Writing Season 1 has felt so weird though, all such babies😭 Season 2 has me SHOOK with each episode I s2g. Thank you all for your time, votes, n comments. Genuinely means the world X
There were many things Elle hadn't expected to take place on a simple Tuesday morning... the main one being Veronica Lodge obtaining an immense thirst for revenge.
Oh, it had all begun so sweetly...
"Should we re-binge Making a Murderer on Netflix tonight?!"
Everyone groaned at Kevin's comment, deciding it was probably the wrong time to suggest such a thing.
"Ugh sorry I can't," Betty replied between bites, "Got to stay late to work on the paper."
Veronica had a sly look plastered on her features and Elle frowned, waiting for the bombshell to drop.
"What about you Ronnie?" She asked quizzically, slightly concerned.
"Count me out.... I've got a date tonight."
Kevin nearly choked on his carrot stick.
"Who?!"
Veronica didn't reply, instead nodding slightly in the direction of Chuck Clayton. Chuck was stood with Reggie. Their pride and self-confidence filled the room.
"You're going on a date with Chuck!"
Elle sighed, gaining everyone's attention,
"He's kind of a player!"Betty nodded in agreement but Kevin retorted immediately, telling Veronica that for the hottest guy in school, it was a risk she should take.
Elle was reluctant to dissuade her as Veronica looked genuinely excited, and everyone could use a little positivity given the current circumstances. However, Riverdale's Jocks were almost comical, a complete cliché to the furthest extent. Arrogant, selfish, and well, beautiful- even Elle could agree with that much.
