Chapter 2: The Spirit and the Soul

*Inside Luna’s Meditational Vision*

Luna walked towards a beach, she saw a blazing fire, like it had been just set a flame. What is this place? Luna thought. She kept walking towards the fire, she sat down, and gazed at the golden flames dancing around in their stone barrier. So Mesmerizing…. Luna thought, she heard the underbrush behind her rustle, she whipper around and saw an animal, a light silver wolf with cobalt blue eyes that sparkled in the fire's light. Her heart pounding, she walked up to the wolf, she stopped in her tracks as the wolf, though it could not speak physically, it telepathically spoke to her. “Luna, I am Tobally, I will be your spirit animal guide till the day you die.”

“Its a pleasure to meet you Tobally, and I’m glad you can be my spirit animal guide.” Luna bowed in the majestic wolf’s presence, His aura is greater than mine, he must’ve been a powerful wolf before he died. Luna walked up to Tobally, and started to pet him, he closed his eyes in comfort.

“Luna, is there anything you ask of me?”

“Promise me you will visit me in dreams, and never leave me.”

“I promise”

Luna woke from her deep meditation, panting slightly, she stood up, staring at the class. “Luna, did you discover your spirit animal guide?” Luna closed her eyes and took a deep breath, once she calmed down enough, she opened her eyes, she saw Erin gazing at her, like he was looking at the golden flames of a fire. Since Luna couldn’t see the fact that her eyes looked as though there was a burning red fire in them.

“Yes I found my spirit Guide!” Luna said with utmost pride.

“Go on tell us what animal it is!!” Diablo shouted from his desk. Luna nodded.

“My spirit animal, is the wolf of the silver mist, Tobally!” Luna shouted, the teacher stared at Luna, like she had just seen a ghost.

“L-Luna….Your...Spirit Guide….Is Tobally?!” Luna nodded, and the teacher smiled with glee. “Luna, you have no idea how lucky you are, Tobally the wolf, the greatest and noblest of the Nabobway Wolf Pack! Luna you will meet me after school so you may learn about his history, you must get to know him better!”

“Yes ma’am!”

“Alright, Diablo your next! Erin you’ll be after him!” Erin just nodded and stared out the window.

*Time skip! Everyone in the class had found their spirit guide, now they are talking among themselves as to what animal they have!*

“Hey Diablo! What was your Spirit animal?” Luna asked.

“I found Ignitus, the Dragon of the Blazing fire” diablo said.

“Cool, what was your animal Erin?”

“Hmph, I saw Kido, the Tiger of the North.”

“Dang! So we all got the legendary three?”

“yeah I guess so, your lucky Luna, you got the leader of the three, all of them were great warriors that devoted their lives to their clans.” Erin stated, giving luna a soft jealous gaze.

“hehehe​, I’m surprised I didn’t get Hades, the Panther of the Night!” Erin and Diablo blinked at Luna, mouth open.  “What?” Luna looked questionably at the two. The two shake their heads, Erin sighed.

“Nevermind, its nothing.” they both said simultaneously. Luna sighed, and she sat down, and waited for the lesson to continue.

“Alright class, now that we have discovered our spirit animals, it is now time to discover our Soul Animals. Now, the way you discover this is you have to concentrate very hard, to your inner core, then you will find the soul of your animal.” Luna closed her eyes, and relaxed, concentrating as hard as she could, she found herself in a dark forest, she started walking around the hollow she was in, taking a deep breath she turned around and faced a sleek black big cat, Luna smiled at him and started walking to him, and he walked to her.

“Hello there young one, I am Hades, the Panther of the Night, I am your soul animal, I will fight by your side till the day you die, and once you die, you become a soul animal as well.” With this said Hades turned into a raven black puff of smoke, flew towards her arm, and with sharp sting of pain, Luna looked at her arm, and saw he had gone to his dormant form, a mere tribal tattoo of a panther. Accepting her new partner, she broke off from her concentration, and looked around to see everyone else has been waiting for her to wake up. The teacher nodded at Luna and before she could speak, the bell rang. Everyone got up from their desks and walked out the door, before Luna could get out the door, a hand grasped her shoulder and pulled her back.

“Luna me and you need to have a word...please.”

“Uh...um sure...miss?”

“Oh, I’m Ms. Star.”

“What would you like to speak to me about Ms. Star?”

“Luna, I am well informed of what you are, who you are, and where you came from. My only question, is why would someone with such power be in a lowly mortal school?”

“I want to consider myself human, I’m sick of the thoughts that run through my head, I want to be like a mortal and not have to think about being immortal.”

“Ah I see, very well then, you may, and have a nice day!” Ms. Star shouted as Luna walked out of the classroom and to her locker, she smiled as she saw Silver, Diablo, and Erin waiting for her there.

“Hey Luna!” Diablo greeted her with a warm smile, she smile back and opened her locker, putting her stuff in her bag, closing the locker, she walked off to the entrance of the school, once out of the doors she ran off through the field across from the school. In the blink of an eye, she transformed into a beautiful black wolf, with ice white designs etched out on her fur. she ran through the meadow, through the forest, and stopped at the borderline between a neighborhood, and the forest, she quickly reverted back to her human form and walked over to a navy blue house, with ocean blue shutters, door, and patio. Panting heavily, she got a shiny pearl white key out, walked up to the door, and unlocked it. Luna walked inside and went upstairs to her room, she placed her bag down and her phone, then flopped on her bed, laying on her back, she let out a wheeze and then coughed a couple of times.

“Dang it, I’m lucky I’m immortal or I would be dead by now!” She growled, she arched her back a bit, feeling a strong, sharp pain in her lower back. “ow ow ow ow!” she slowly laid back down, and relaxed, her muscles sore from the run back home, Luna picked her phone up and started reading some texts she received. One of them, from her brother read, “Dear sister, its me Solaris, I am pleased to inform you that Stormedagoon has been exiled from Tantabis, just like you were, but, people still worship you two as the ultimate and most powerful gods in the universe, well, as the legend has it, only a Saint can kill another Saint, but the Elder says your much more than just a Saint, you are a Supreme Guardian Saint Luna, so be warned, after Stormedagon is dead, your next! Hahahahahaha!!!” ~Solaris Yuzumaki. Luna sighed and threw her phone off her bed, her eyes turning black with white irises. “Come at me Solaris, my bite is worse than my bark! And how the hell did he get my number!?"
