New Moon High School

Chapter 1: Welcome to New Moon High School!

Luna ran towards her school, backpack in one hand and phone in the other, she ran at godlike speed and stopped right in front of her new school. She gazed up at it in aw. “woah….So this is New Moon High School? Its huge!!”

“yeah it sure is…” a deep voice exclaimed, Luna startled, put up her fists, ready to defend herself, but to her surprise, it was just a boy, he had cobalt blue eyes, silver, gray and black hair, and wore a black shirt with a white crescent moon in the middle, underneath it read, “New Moon High”.

“H-Hello there..” Luna said, a bit nervous as she has never really been this close to someone since that night ten years ago. The boy looked at her, smiling warmly at her, his gaze soft and innocent.

“hello miss, I am Silver, pleasure to make your acquaintance” He bowed at Luna.

“I-I’m Luna Yuzumaki, its a pleasure to meet you too Silver.” She bowed back at him, then she walked back towards the school entrance, Silver keeping pace next to her.

“Are you new here Luna?” Silver asked.

“Y-Yes, I’m just a freshman though, I kinda was in private schools, until high school.”

“Ah i see, well, welcome to New Moon High School! the best public high school! Well, we’re tied with Phoenix Drop High School, but that will change!” He exclaimed proudly.

“Heheh, yeah, we’ll beat PDHS, I’m sure of it!” Luna said excitedly.

“Hell yeah we will! Oh do you need me to show you around? I’m a senior so I’ve probably taken some classes that you have before, plus I know exactly where every class is too.”

“Yes t-thank you!” Luna bowed at Silver again and they rushed into the school.

*Time Skip to first class*

“Alright class, we have a new student this year, so I expect you all to treat her as part of our clan, understood!?”

“Yes Ma’am!” the whole class yowled at her.

“Now sweetheart, come over here next to me and introduce yourself to the class!” The teacher nagged. Luna nodded and walked and stood next to the teacher.

“I-I’m Luna Yuzumaki, I-I enjoy many things, like drawing, fighting, and video games. I hate large crowds, bugs, and other stuff, I have two other siblings, one older brother and one younger brother. and yeah that's pretty much all you need to know about me.” Luna said bluntly. Before Luna could take a seat a student raised her hand.

“Do you have a question Hydreya?”

“Um Luna….what does your name, Luna Yuzumaki mean?”

“It means Moon Diamond.”

“Oh okay, thank you.”

“Now Luna, please take a seat next to Erin and Diablo.” The teacher pointed to two boys sitting in the back row, wow, they have a window near their desks! Luna cautiously walked up to them and sat down in the seat closest to the window near their desks.

“So you like the school so far?” A boy with one black hair and red eyes asked.

“Y-Yes, its a big school!” Luna said.

“Hmph, don’t get lost you little kitty.” A boy with dark brown hair and brown eyes blunty said.

“Oi I’m not a cat!” Luna let out a low growl.

“Eh, don’t mind Erin, he is always like this with Freshman kids!” The boy with black hair said.

“Shut up Diablo!” Erin growled, glaring at Diablo.

“Hahahaha! Just be nice to Luna, she’s new, how bout at lunch you give her a tour!” Diablo shouted.

“What!? Why me!?”

“Because its your punishment for being so rude to a lovely little angle like Luna!”

“Hmph, fine, I’ll show her around.” Erin gave up with fighting with Diablo, seeing as he couldn’t win.

“Alright class, today, we will start a new lesson!” The teacher explained. She wrote the words, “Soul Animal and Spirit Animal” on the whiteboard, Luna, confused raised her hand. “Yes my dear?”

“Uh Miss, what's a Spirit Animal and Soul Animal?” Luna asked shyly.

“Well, I was just about to explain it, you see, a spirit animal, is a spiritual guide that you can contact through sleep, or meditation. A Soul Animal, is the animal that you choose to be your partner, they are like your companion, they fight alongside you, they relax with you, they’re like a giant pet!”

“Woah…” Luna gasped in awe, she couldn’t wait to pick her Spirit and Soul animal.

“Luna Yuzumaki, I want you to be the first to discover your Spirit animal, then decide on your Soul animal.”

‘Y-yes ma’am.” Luna nodded, she walked up to the front of the class, and sat down on a rug, it had candles at each corner.

“Now Luna, relax, I have a video that will help you find your Spirit animal.” The teacher walked over to her desk, and over her speakers, came calming, relaxing music. A masculine voice spoke, he told many things to Luna, that would soon lead her to her Spirit animal, in a couple minutes, she was deeply relaxed, her body limp but stable. Time, to find my spiritual guide!
