Prologue
It was early Spring in the streets of London. People coming out of their houses to clean and start anew. It was a little bit wet from the melting snow but soon after flowers were blooming with radiance. Birds sang and children played with joy. The sun was brighter than ever. Just in the outskirts of town there lay a small hill that was covered with luscious green grass, beautiful flowers of many colour, a grove tree on top and by looking closely there lay a couple under. Entwined fingers, bodies close to each other and a smile on their faces while enjoying the cool breeze. The woman looked at her half full of love. His hair like the trunk of the grove, brown and down to earth. His eyes are as piercing as ever like the arrows of a hunter yet gentle like the breeze that brushes through them. His hands are more calloused yet warm and comforting. "I have missed you so, my love." And just like that, his eyes landed on hers. "I missed you more." With that he planted kisses on the maiden's hand then on her cheek, then on her lips. But then she pulled away.
"Why won't you reconsider my idea, love?" Asked the maiden. "We would be together forever and no one can hinder our feelings for each other."
"As much as I want to but-" the man looked at his half with sadness, "your father will not allow it. And even if we do elope what will happen to our families, friends and more so everyone? They need us."
"You are always full of excuses Lord de Monteforte. I do love my family but I love you more. You are the only person that left my heart wanting more of you. Not every suitors can do that to me."
"I'm sorry my love. But it is for the best. We are risking more than enough, are we not? We pushed our luck too much but look at us right now? Our love has grown more than ever. Please bear it."
The maiden rested her head on the chest of her love and let out a big sigh then looked at the sky. "As long as you are with me and your heart is true, then I shall bear it until I draw my last breath."

Marazion Cornwall, Britian
1840
Nobles and rich merchants were all in a room discussing their usual plans. A man with golden hair led the discussion. He pointed a certain location on the map that sat on the marble table. The man had the aura of strength and was very certain of his words. Basically, he was the leader of the nobles. His gloved finger pointed on a location of Britian and put a red mark on it.
"Well we have searched for it there but no such luck." The man looked at his fellow discussants, "So any suggestions where it might be? And obviously its not here on our lands."
"Of course, Frendel" said a tall dark man who stood up from his velvet chair and looked out the window. "So I suggest we wait. From what we have gathered it will only show itself on the right time."
"But Althaws waiting will only cause us more lives. The epidemic was bad enough. We don't want any more of it to stretch out farther into the abyss." Replied a dark brown skinned woman.
"Lady Guiniviva is correct." Replied another "But we also don't want to risk our men to go into the unknown. They have families too."
"Very well then, James." Replied Emeline of Hexham "We don't want to wait, we don't want to risk anything, so I suggest its up to Lady Ophelia."
Each and every one of the people inside the room locked their eyes on Ophelia. She was sitting in the corner drinking hot tea. When she noticed they were all looking at her.
"Were all of you listening to me?" She started " I am ill at this time. Thus your quest is all a blur to me. Even if I am not, certain events in the past can't just be seen and told especially that event."
"If you could just try harder Oph-"
"Oh stop your blabbering Frendel! This is not easy like putting peanut butter into your mouth."
"Now now. Everyone." Chided another "Let us all respect her. Why not continue this discussion another day. It is already evening."
Frendel let out a big sigh and sat down. He was the leader and he should respect each and every one of the people here. It took them two decades to find each other and he won't risk this small argument with this loud mouth Lady Ophelia to have them all leaving. He looked at Richard de Montforte, his bestfriend and partner. After a few minutes of silence he adjourned the meeting. But before he left, he told his bestfriend about their quest. "You are risking too much, brother. I respect your decisions but please remember what it will bring forth to everyone."

SLAP!
The powerful force hit her face hard the led her tumbling down. It stung her so much but she didn't want to cry. Her father had found yet again their secret meeting. Ever since that apparition showed itself to them, her father forbid her the only thing she couldn't forget feeling, love. Oh don't be confused, her father loves Richard de Montforte like his own son but he doesn't want Richard to be his legitimate son-in-law. He made sure it stayed that way so that what the apparition said wont happen.
Your child shall bring everlasting happiness,
that shall blossom to love to ones sadness.
A fruit shall bear the fault of one,
that caused by love that should never been done.
Days shall pass and light shall fade.
One had accepted and never afraid
Existence shall burn and turn to ash
That will never come back and water shall wash.
"How dare you to continue this tomfoolery! And look what it got you!" He pointed at her womb "I expected more from you Ophelia!"
"You never understood father! You always kept me in the dark! I love him!"
SLAP!
This time it was harder. Her father looked at her with anger and concern. "Fool, you just put ourselves in great danger. Our end shall come because of your selfishness."
"I already accepted my fate, father." Ophelia said with bitterness. She stood and walked up to her room.
In her room, Ophelia cried and cried on her window overlooking the city. She was staying in their family town house just outside of Marazion. There were a great many stars tonight and it helped her ease a little. She saw different constellations and found a particular one, Gemini, and said,
"Why have you forsaken me?"

So yeah!!! Finally made a prologue. This is my first ever story. This thing had been nagging on my head since last week. This part of the story is set in the victorian era. I just have this thing with victorian stuff. hehehe. That's the reason why this thing is in the Historical Fiction and Romance category. But on the later chapters it wont be 'historical' anymore though. Anyway what do you guys think? Any questions? Comment below :) and if so vote. :3 teeeheee.
