"Seek not to know what must not be reveal, for joy only flows where fate is most concealed. A busy person would find their sorrows much more; if future fortunes were known before!"                                                             John Dryden

The clop clop of the boots were loud but it was drowned by the busy on going of the airport. It was good though since the owner didn't want anymore attention. When they reached the arrival area, a lot of sign boards were up. Stormy gray eyes searched through the crowd of boards to see a familiar name. Reonaldi, Mr Yuan, Mr and Ms Cach, Shader Industries, Banana, Klein- wait- Banana? Who puts that as a sign board unless...

"There you are!"

A man wearing a blue v-neck shirt topped with a black coat walked towards the puzzled girl. He approached with wide arms ready to take in a big bear hug.

"Yes it is I!" the girl replied, sarcastically. "How are you my dear brother, Rob?"

"Oh you know, here and there." Rob replied "So hOW did your flight go?"

"It was torture. Seriously it was vomit!"

"Don't go all ballistic on me, Noah. It's your fault. Told you to take the first class flight but NOOO."

Noah rolled her eyes, "Just shut it, and take my bag. They're killing me." She gave her bags and looked around to see if her brother was with someone. Noticing the reaction, Rob frowned.

"He could not make it."

"I guess his business meeting is more important than picking up his own daughter." Noah said bitterly. It was always like this. She should have expected it since her father was like that. But she really thought that this time would be different. Ever since they got his call, she thought maybe- maybe he would... No! Forget about it, she thought.

Sensing the silence, Rob showed his sister their ride. Noah followed but kept to herself but when she saw the car, her eyes went wide. She stopped on her tracks and just gaped. The car was black and shiny and the epitome of awesomeness. She approached it and looked at the windows. Tinted. The tires were new heck the car was new! Her sudden bad mood disappeared and a smile was now planted on her face.

"Nice ride, jumbo. Are you with the Men in Black?" she joked.

"Yeah well, with my face I could just snatch diamonds out of thin air." he boasted.

Rob opened the doors and gestured for Noah to get in. When they were all secured the car roared to life and drove throught the busy streets of Boston. During the ride, Rob showed Noah the notable places in town. god this guy should switch from business hot shot to tourist guide. He talks a lot!

"So uhm... where is dad anyway?" The talking stopped and an eerie silence was in the car. Rob just focused on the road and didn't even entertained the question. Impatience got the best of Noah and blurted out. "You're just gonna seriously ignore me? Hello? I just asked you a simple question, Rob. Just-"

"He said he's sorry." He finally answered, though his face was dead serious "Look, I know you are upset but you just gotta deal with it. Dad will make it up to you."

"Okay but you still didn't answer my question."

"Noah, just-gaah! He is in a meeting, okay? A very important meeting. If you would just understand.Seriously you are so hot-headed. Are all fifteen year olds like that these days?"

Noah was now really pissed off at her father. After so many years of not showing up at home and then transferring her to a boot camp was bad enough but this? Being shipped off here, now this was the worst. Her father left their home in London when she was only six. Noah told her mom to leave him and just marry another man but the woman was damn loyal. Hmm... true love maybe? Anyway Noah was doing fine in her studies when suddenly her mom put her to boot camp. She was frustrated and threw tantrums when she found out that it was her dad's decision. With her continuous resistance she got herself a good slap on the face. Sure boot camp, she can handle it. It's just military stuff and a lot of training under the sun. At first it was hard and a lot of bruises on the first week but after that she made friends and finally was getting great at the routines. But all great things tend to end. A phone call rang.
