Sienna's POV

"Sienna, you've been lying in bed for weeks. Bryant called and he wants to do a photoshoot. I want you to go so you can get out of the house." My mom began removing the various dried cereal bowls from my bedside table.

"I don't want to." My body twisted to look at her, eyes squinting at her concerned face.

"You're going. I don't like being so strict but really Sienna, you need to get some fresh air. When you get back I'd like it if you unpacked. I'd think living in a house in the hills would encourage you to make your room look nice."

"Why can't you let me be heartbroken?" I groaned, pulling the blankets over my head.

"I know you miss him but come on, it's been 4 months. You need to live your life."

"I know I know. I'll go, is Bryant picking me up?"

"Yep. He'll be here around 2. Get ready, I'm going out with Rick." Her face lit up as she left the room, doing a little dance on her way out.

Since my dad died, my mom began to grow into the mother I remembered from my childhood. My dad left all the money to us and with it we've bought a house in the hollywood hills. I, on the other hand, fell down a hole a couple months after the break up. It just hit me one day and I had spent my days watching Netflix or going to the gym every day.

I got up out of bed, sifting through my box of unpacked clothing. I pulled out a bralette and some high rise shorts from a thrift shop, knowing Bryant would dig the outfit.

"Fuck." I took a peek in the mirror, gagging at my appearance. A mixture of dried milk and saliva was smeared from the corner of my mouth up to the center of my cheek, my hair was in a bun with thousands of baby hairs sticking out around my forehead and for some reason i looked like i had no eyelashes.

"I'm leaving! I'll be back later. Have fun with Bryant." My mom yelled from the lower level, her voice faint behind my door.

"Okay. Love you."

"Love you too." With that, the door shut firmly and I was left alone.

Like always.

"Have you talked to Grayson lately?" Bryant's camera clicked as I turned slightly, smiling into the lens.

"Not since he came to my house and broke up with me. Ethan tried calling me a couple times but I just ignored him."

"Why? He didn't do anything." He stopped taking photos and pulled his camera away from his face.

"Well, with Ethan comes Grayson. You can't have one without the other, and I don't want to get in the middle of those two."

"Yeah, but at the same time I think Ethan really liked you as a friend. Are you really gonna throw that all away just because his brother decided to be a dick?" He shrugged and brought his camera back up to his eye.

"Why do you have to be so fucking wise?"

"I guess I just see things through two perspectives." He laughed.

"Hey, you wanna go to that carnival thing to take photos?"

"Where is it?"

"Down by the beach." I shrugged, sitting down on the bench beside him.

"Let's go. We should get another outfit."

On our way back to my place I pulled out my phone and sent a text.

Ethan

hey ethan, it's sienna. bryant and i are heading to the fair by long beach. i was wondering if you want to go with us.

Woah, i'm surprised u texted me. I'd love to. Should we meet there?

we can pick you up in around 30 mins. see you then :)

"Hey, Bryant?"

"Yeah?" He glanced over at me from the steering wheel.

"Can we um... can we pick up Ethan?"

"I knew you'd come around." He grinned and I laughed, staring out the window.

We rode in silence, butterflies tickling the lining of my stomach as we neared my house. Today I'd be reuniting with him.

In all honesty, I had missed Ethan Dolan for those past months.
