STRANGE FEELINGS

After her awkward encounter with sonia, nomita was highly confused about sonia's behaviour .....she was pondering over sonia's words when her chain of thoughts were broken by darcy who came to invite her for dinner in canteen where maria was also expected to meet them as they three had decided that they would have their meals together ...darcy banged her hand on the canteen table to grab her attention as she was just staring at the plate which was still untouched by her ...due to darcy's sudden action of banging her hand on the table nomita looked up bewildered darcy gave her a WHAT THE HELL look n asked her why she was not eating ...for a second nomita thought of sharing her mixed feelings regarding bassanio n sonia with her besties but then changed her mind ...she just replied "sorry guys i was just thinking about our first lecture which will be held tomorrow and about the new classmates n our new professor "...."ya ya we know how excited you r about the new lessons n subjects but it is quite strange that u r wondering about about our new batchmates cuz usually u r never interested about new ppl ....." nomita's cheeks burned n turned crimson , she was caught offguard now ...maria was enjoying the whole scene siting there ...she spoke " ohho someones feeling shy ..vass upp nomita who is the one whom u r planning to meet as a classmate ...???speak up nomita why r u looking down...??" maria n darcy high fived n burst into fits of laughter ...nomita got up n left from there feeling hell shy n awkward ...this was the first time she was feeling shy on being teased ...earlier she had never felt this way ...her heart was thumping fast .. she was trying hard to figure out this unnamed feeling which was creeping in .... ...she jumped in her bed n covered her beetroot like face with her pillow ...after some time darcy stepped in to find her best frnd siting on her bed and sleeping with her eyes closed but specs on and her beloved book opened on her lap ...darcy just smiled at her friends crazy antics...she closed her book n took off her specs ..she laid nomita down on the bed lightly thus helping her friend sleep comfortably...darcy was hoing to keep nomitas book on her study table when her eyes caught sight of the cover of the book ....darcy was stunned to find out that it was nothing but a love story novel which her NERD friend was reading cuz usually she read course books or classic historical literature but never a love story ...she remembered nomita stating once that she felt that these love stories were highly cheesy n cli- che ...darcy cudnt believe her own eyes at the sight infront of her she took the book n hid it in her closet n smiled mischievously ...
Tomorrow there were many surprises in store for nomita but for now she slept with a serene smile playing on her lips .....
