Currently, I was lying next to Aang on a fallen tree stump. It was a peaceful morning ans Sokka had just gotten back from hunting.
"What's for dinner?" Aang asked as he jumped over to Sokka.
"We've got a few options," Sokka explained," Round nuts, some kind of oval-shaped nuts, and some rock-shaped nuts that might be rocks."
I slapped my forehead and didn't move to eat anything as Sokka said," Dig in."
Katara spoke up,"Seriously, what else you got?"
While Sokka looked in his bag, the ground quaked making me shoot to my feet. An earth-bender. The others were ignorant to what the noise was.
"It came from over there!" Aang pointed.
I ran in front of them at a faster pace, ignoring Sokka's pleas to no confront he noise. I was fascinated by earth-benders since I was a poor one. I could do other things of course, but I was only as strong as my weakest attribute. Arriving at a ditch, I saw a relatively attractive teenager bending. I slid down quietly, so I didn't disturb him.
"Hey," I greeted calmly.
He jumped causing a rock to almost drop on his body, but I caught it before it could,"Your a - "
"Sorry, I shouldn't have scared you," I apologized,"I'm Argent."
He looked at me awhile before shaking my outstretched hand," Haru. My name's Haru."
I grinned,"Nice to meet another bender."
"Hello! I'm Katara!" Katara's voice called.
I turned to see her smiling widely, but Haru looked worried and scared. Before I knew it, he grabbed my hand and was dragging me behind him. Haru blocked our path with a small rock slide. Why was he so afraid?
He brought me to a village still having a secure hold on my hand,"Is this your village?"
Haru nodded,"Yes. Hopefully, they didn't follow."
My brows raised," They're my friends. They aren't bad people."
Haru looked at me,"Are they benders?"
I nodded," Of other elements."
He remained silent, pushing me into what I guessed was his house," Hi, mom."
A woman who was aging gracefully turned around," Where have you been, Haru? And who is this?"

The front door opened, revealing Katara," Hey! You're that kid!"
I slapped my forehead," Katara, it's not polite to come in without knocking."
Haru spastically turned," You must have me confused with some other kid."
Aang came in unannounced," No, she doesn't. We saw you earth-bending"
Instantly, Haru's mother closed the doors and windows," They saw you doing what?!"
Haru panicked,"They're crazy. Look at how they're dressed."
