The gatherers, again, explored past the bridge in small groups. The first group were the explorers, the ones that would make sure that the land beyond was safe for the others to settle in.
The explorers group were gone for a week, when they should have been gone for two days. The gatherers had almost lost hope to ever see them again, when they suddenly appeared. Except they were dressed as if they were kings. They talked and acted as if they were kings. These explorers wore golden silk, so soft it was like they were wearing clouds. These explorers wore gold, so much gold that their backs began to get crooked. In that time and moment, the gatherers were filled with greed. Every single gatherer, the children, the woman, the men and the elderly wanted to be kings, queens, princes and princesses. Just like the explorers were. They were immediately consumed by greed and envy.
