Dad's not sent anything..

So, it was my birthday yesterday... there was no card from dad... I rushed home from school to see if there was late post - nothing.

I'm going to tell you all something, because I know you want to help, but I can't let you, okay? I stopped seeing my dad 6 years ago. He sent me birthday cards until I was 10... then he stopped.

I'm not sure wether it feels better to think he's forgotten or he's doing it on purpose. Anyway, he stopped, but he still might send something, he might. Maybe there was late post, maybe he's away at the moment, maybe he's been busy. Maybe it'll be here within a week.
