Why does it seem
Everyone around me
Dies
No lies
It hurts the most
When I’m the host
Of this hard time
I cry and cry
I feel so weak
The world looks meek
I hate this cruel world
It takes who I love
In the worst of ways
It breaks my heart
To see people cry
To me it doesn’t help a thing
Just brings more pain
To sit in vain
Why does this world have to be so cruel?
Why does it take who I love?
This is such a cruel world
