chapter 16

Mark woke up with a numb pain in his leg, his eyes pried open to see a room full of white.

No no no , i cant be dead!

Mark thought to himself as he sat up swiftly. He could hear a faint being to his left. It was just a hospital room. Wait !! Why was mark in the hospital?

"I see your up." A doctor said as they entered the room. Her hair was short and just above her shoulders, and her stethoscope hung round her neck.

"um yeh but , Why am I in the hospital?"

"You passed out after being impaled by a stick." Felix said walking into the room with a coffee.

"Thank you Mr kjelburg, now mark, I just need to do some quick tests and you'll be free to go home."

Mark nodded as the nurse checked his heartrate and chest and stuff like that. Mark wasn't paying much attention when the nurse left the room and Felix asked him a question.

"Halloo, earth to mark."

"oh, um yeh?"

"I was asking what happened with you and jack, he's still in surgery so I've been kind of bored with both of you getting things removed from your body."

"surgery?"

"Yeh his foot is really messed up and turns out he got some metal stuck in it , so that's great." Felix chuckled.

The room was silent, Felix sipped his coffee, and mark just starred at the wall.

"So , what did happen with you and jack?" Felix asked.

"Um well seems like when he was running he fell into a bear trap and stumbled off of a cliff and onto a small ledge. He would have gotten up himself but..."

"Jack is scared of heights." they laughed in unison.

"I swear that is like his only weakness." Felix smiled. "How did you distract him?"

"hu?"

"Like how did you stop him from going, u know , anti?" Felix asked as he sipped his coffee.

"um well.."

"Mr Kjellburg your friend is back from surgery and will wake up soon, you can go and be their when he wakes up." The nurse said , saving mark from complete humiliation. "You to Mr fish batch, your free to go home whenever you like."

Felix and mark rushed out of marks room and up to Jack's on the 3rd floor, they both walked in to find jack sat up looking very sleepy.

"Hey Jackarooney how you doin?" Felix said sitting down by his bed.

"Tired" he yawned.

"well I hate to keep you awake but you have some explaining to do my friend." Felix said crossing his arms. "lets start with what the hell was in that shed."

"OK, but can it not become a screaming match, my throat kind of hurts."jack said stroking his throat.

Felix laughed softly and say back in his chair ready to listen.

"Yeh sure, now." He paused.

"Shed!"
