Chapter 16 - Yogurt + Gwiyomi

As the people around them started to look upwards and opening their hands, Kyungsoo and Jessi's eye contact never broke. It didn't feel awkward at all, both of them just somehow started to stare in each others' eyes as the snow fell.

Jessi had to look away, because if she were to stare any longer, she would've lost her sane.

Kyungsoo then noticed the snow.

"Oh... it's snowing." he mumbled as he looked up, then looked at Jessi again.

"Are you okay? That crash was really... uh... hard. Does your head hurt?" D.O. asked.

"Ah... I was dizzy a little, now it's gone." she smiled and looked at her gifts. "Well at least they're safe." she mumbled.

"Who are you here with?" he asked once more.

"My mum and my soon-to-be step father." Jessi shrugged casually as she exhaled, the cold wind making it look like puffs.

"Your soon-to-be step... father?" D.O. repeated, not sure what he just heard was correct.

Jessi nodded. "I'm happy that my mum can be loved again." she smiled. "See you tomorrow D.O."

Suengsoo who witnessed the whole incident smirked. They ran and bumped into each other, no one would be so stupid to run without looking right? It's all fate. It was one of God's plan. And, a coincidence, when they got up, the first snow of the year fell.

Suengsoo grinned as he saw his hyung walking back to the cafe.

"Why are you grinning like an idiot?" Kyungsoo asked.

"I saw everything, hyung. You were with Jessi when the first snow fell." Seungsoo's grin became wider.

"So what does that mean?" D.O. asked in pretense. He didn't want to believe the fact that fate has brought them together and the first snow fell coincidentally just like that.

"You're going to get married with Jessi!" Seungsoo cheered gleefully.

"W-what? S-stop muttering n-nonsense." D.O. stuttered and had to hide his face from his younger brother, because for sure Seungsoo will tease him more if he saw Kyungsoo blushing.

"Who was that?" Mrs Hwang asked as her daughter walked towards the seat with souvenirs in her arms.

"D.O." she said and sat down next to her mother.

"You and D.O. were together when the first snow fell!" Hansol pointed out.

Just then Jessi froze. She remembered the particular saying when the first snow falls. Then she laughed pathetically at herself.

"Nah I won't marry him." she gave Hansol that weird 'You kidding me' expression.

When the next morning came, the snow has already stopped and the street sweepers were busy keeping the snow away from the streets and road. Jessi took her school blazer from the closet and wore black leather gloves. She put on her shoes and headed outside into the cool city.

"Goodbye imo, goodbye halmoni!" the Do brothers waved at their aunt and halmoni. Well the reason their aunt is there, it was because neither Kyungsoo nor Seungsoo could take care of their grandmother when they go to school.

The silence followed as they walked on the frosted street.

"Hyung, do you like Jessi?" Seungsoo asked out of the blue.

"I like her as a friend." D.O. replied simply without looking at Seungsoo.

"Did you ever think whether you like her more than a friend?" the latter asked once more.
