My head was spinning. How? How could he love me?! ME of all people? I thought to myself. It was a pretty good question to ask since he never showed signs of it.... Except for that one time in the forest...

I scooted down the bed, trying to get away from the sleeping boy, but I slipped.

And fell.

Of course, it had to wake up Tim. "m-hm?" He wondered drowsily. Tim yawned and sat up on the bed. The bed sheet came off his torso, leaving him exposed; my cheeks heated up rapidly. He looked around for what made the thud, his eyes finding me, butt flat on the floor. "Oh, hey Tic-Boy!" he chuckled, "Why are you on the ground? I don't think it's really comfortable. Trust me, I sat on that floor for weeks." He laughed hard.

I couldn't comprehend words. Everything was going. My heart never worked faster. My breaths were quick and my head was aching from thinking.

And like a fool... "Y-You LOV-V-VE M-ME?!"

His eyes widened and went red in the face. "T-Toby? You okay?"

I got up, standing on the floor. "You s-said it, in your-r-r sleep-p! Expl-lain yourself-f!!" By this point, I was pacing back and forth in my room. Eventually, I was twitching so much, where I had to stay in one place.

Masky got up and helped me to the closest chair. He left the room and came back putting on a shirt. He closed the door. Tim kneeled down to my height. His messy hair covered one of his eyes. He looked down, face a slight pink. Of course, my whole face was the resemblance of a tomato.

"Toby..." he started. Tim was still tired, you could tell in his voice, "Toby I didn't want you to find out like this."

I pulled him into a hug, not letting him talk anymore. "Sh-shut up. J-just shut up-p." He hugged back, and I could feel the grin on his face.

Breakfast was... awkward, to say the least. It was Saturday, so everyone from the mansion came to the table. As usual, I sat in between Sally, on my left, and Masky, on my right. Everyone caught on to the odd tension between me and Masky.

Me and Tim continued to scrape our plates and play with our food. Whenever our eyes met, even in the slightest, our heads would jolt the other direction.    At one point, I turned my head to talk to Sally, but she wasn't there. Suddenly, I felt a slight tug on my hand that was dangling next to me. I looked down, and there was a small thread of red tied to my pinky finger. As I followed the piece, I saw it was connected to the same boy who confessed his love for me in his sleep.

Our eyes slowly met, and we simultaneously went to a smiling Sally.  She held tightly to Teddy and giggled, "It's because you two are soulmates!"

     "S-Sally," I stuttered, "D-d-do you know-w-w what an 's-soulmat-te' is?"

"Nope! But it sounds cute!" She gave us kisses on the cheek and skipped along to get ready for a bath.

We looked at each other. I gave a half-smile, and Tim shrugged, laughing a bit. He got up, as did I. "Wanna go for a walk?"

     I nodded.

We went out to the forest. For some reason, he told me to wear people clothes. We walked around for a couple hours, silent. When we left, he insisted that we wear the rope Sally gave us. When he put it on me, he said nothing and just blushed.
