After a beautiful breakfast full of waffles, syrup, and the laughs of that picture that Ben sent to, of course, everyone, (THANKS BEN!!!) I had realized that I had nothing on my plate for today.

"Hey, M-Masky?" I asked, sheepishly for some odd reason.

"Yeah, Tic-Boy? What's up?" He asked, mouthful of waffles in his mouth.

     "I'm c-clear today, s-so how's about w-we hang out...? A-as friends...?"

For some odd reason... He laughed. A true laugh I haven't heard from Masky, or anyone besides Sally in the Slender house for that matter. It made me giggle a bit, but under so he couldn't have heard.

"Tic-Boy! If you wanted to ask me out, you could've just asked!" He laughed.

     I flustered, face turning into a tomato. "W-what?! T-t-this is n-n-not a d-d-d-date!!"

He put a finger to my mouth. I growled, "Come on, sweetie. You know you love me."

I threw his hand on the ground and put a hatchet to his neck. "N-no... Not e-ever... U-u-understand?"

"YES YES JUST LET ME THE F*** GO!!"

As I did so, he sighed of relief. "Now, how's about we take a walk to clear the air."

I sighed. "Just let me get ready, okay?"

~

As we walked away from the Slender house, there was nothing to clear the air.

     Total.

     Awkward.

     Silence.

Then, I hear chirping. But it wasn't from the birds. It was Tim. Whistling. It was a tune I remembered as a child. It was soothing. I remembered it putting me to sleep. It had words to go with it...

"Dum ditty ditty dum dum Don't cry or fret. People come round to give you love and respect. Dum ditty ditty dum dum lie and await. Go to sleep now and let your dreams take you away..."

"W-wow...Toby..." He stopped... He was listening...

He stepped in front of me. I noticed something wet drop down my face.

     "Are you okay, Toby?"

     "I... M-My mom..."

He sighed. "Come here." He outstretched his arms, for a hug. I obliged and walked into him, unable to control the tears streaming down my face.

     "S-S-she didn't deserve..."

     "Shhh... Shhh... It's fine Toby..."

     "N-NO IT ISN'T!!! S-she deserved a b-b-better life with a better h-h-husband... Where I w-wasn't around."

Masky slowly took off my bandana and wiped the tears. For once... And maybe because I was sad... I was okay with someone seeing my scar...

"She must have loved you if she kept you, Toby... You must have done something right... Shh..."

And for... What seemed like an eternity... We just stayed like that...

Trust me when I say this, I cried when I was making this scene with the walk... Anyhow, this was probably one of my favorite chapters to write regardless because I got inspiration by KathyHeller927 (love you boo). I will try to update as soon as I can, but I am a shitty writer with no life, and school is starting... So yeah! I hope you all enjoyed and I will update ASAP!!

Loves all around,
