A/N: WOW this chapter is super long. 4000 words and counting! It's weird because everytime I write smut, it ends up being so long (which is weird cause I totally suck at writing smut). But yeah, this chapter contains smut. They also changed the story to Rated R now because I used words such as cock (that was like once though or twice..) and fuck (I think, idk). I'll try to have the next chapter up for next week, Saturday if I'm following a respectable pattern. Please, let me know what you think. I love reading your comments, it really motivates me to write more. Anyway, yay, here :)!
PS: I haven't edited bc it's 1am and I'm super tired so I'll keep that for later. For those who are about to go to bed like me, goodnight!

“This is... Wow, I don’t even know what to say.” Jesy’s green eyes went big for a quick second and a deep sigh left her mouth, her back gently resting against the plush cushion of her chair, her body suddenly too heavy with worry and disappointment. Her eyes gave a fleeting glance out the window, the weather mirroring her emotions. The sun had crept behind dark grey clouds and light rain was hitting down on the cemented pavement, the sky a dark colour; it was almost like a foreshadow of what Leigh-Anne’s future held for her.
“Actually I do. Leigh, why did you kiss him? I’m not trying to give you a lecture or anything but what about Harry? My brother would be devastated if he heard about it.” She looked down at her empty plate, the little crumbs of bread spread out randomly on top of the white ceramic surface. A feeling of desperation arose inside of her and her eyes shifted, boring into Leigh-Anne’s. The curly-headed girl didn’t say anything. Her curls were falling down her face as she stared downward, her heart being tugged on restlessly by an invisible force, the wound in her heart only growing in size. Her friend had every right to be upset with her, and she would be too if the roles were reversed, but it didn’t make Leigh-Anne feel any less bad about what she had done. Jesy’s reaction had only strengthened her resolution of not telling Harry anything. Nada. She wouldn’t be able to just stand there and watch his face transition at the news. No, not when she could prevent it all.
“I know, I know. I’m so stupid. I don’t know why I kissed him, Jess. I love your brother so much—”
“Not enough it seems.”
Leigh-Anne went silent, a deep jab to her chest causing her voice to get lost in her throat. Tears sprang up to her eyes and remained there, Jesy becoming a blur of black and yellow. “I-Hm, sorry. I should go, I... have a lot of work do to.” Leigh-Anne scrambled to her feet, reaching over for her bag, everything around her becoming silent and distant. Her heart was punching against her ribcage and each breath she took was painful. She needed to leave and get some fresh air, despite the rain that was rushing down outside. Anything would be better than having to stay in that small restaurant — a restaurant that usually held so much comfort and ease — and be reminded of what she had done.
“Leigh...” Jesy sighed, pushing her chair back and getting up to her feet, realizing the degree of her words and wanting to apologize, but Leigh-Anne shook her head repeatedly, trying to dismiss her friend. The words had sunk in, scratched and grazed each corner of her being, leaving Leigh-Anne broken to the core.
Their waiter, a bubbly blonde with a black apron tied around her slim waist, showed up then, her face contorting in confusion as she took a glimpse in Leigh-Anne’s direction, her movements decreasing in speed. She stared at both girls in wonder, probably battling whether or not to step in and assure that everyone’s well being wasn’t being put on the line.
“It’s fine, I’m fine.” She sniffled, pulling at her white blazer so it could hug her shoulders properly. She nodded at the waiter, giving her the green light to clear the table, and took the opportunity to blink her eyes a few times, hoping to force back the tears. “I... Jesy, I love your brother, whether you believe me or not and it hurts to hear you say things like that because you know better than anyone what Harry and I have been through. It took us years to get to where we are...” A sharp inhale of breath cut off her sentence, the deep feeling of regret curling around her heart, like a heavy chain that kept weighting the bruised organ down. A few stray tears had run down her cheeks, Leigh-Anne no longer able to hold them back, the intensity of her emotions causing her stomach to tie in knots and ache in sorrow.
