"So just hang out with them, buy anything they think would look cute on you and just try and join in on any conversation they have if you can. The more you involve yourself with this group, the quicker you'll get accepted." Agent Cassie explained to me as she fixed my hair and makeup.
"Yeah sure." I said agreeing, "Is Eric here?" I asked, trying not to seem too distracted.
"He's out on a mission, he'll be back by the time your shopping trip is over," she replied as she walked me out of the building.
"Agent Becca on the move," she said into her spy device.
A male voice replied a second later, "Roger that."
"What happened to agent four three three two or whatever?" I asked.
"It's just an identification code for you but I think everyone knows who you are by now." She answered, grinning.
It was true. I had met a lot of agents over the past few days and everyone knew about the new teenage agent. Cassie grabbed car keys from her pocket and unlocked the limo.
"Agent Turner's on call for a different mission as well, you'll have me driving today. Press the green button when you need me to come pick me up. I'll be answering your line today." she said pointing at my spy device.
She opened the door for me and the walked around to the front of the car where she got in the driver's seat. "Okay let's go," she said starting the vehicle.
Within a few minutes, we had arrived at the shopping center. I saw the girls standing out the front of a store, eyes glued to their phones.
"Oh god there they are." I groaned. The reality of the situation was starting to hit me as I realized I would be stuck with them for most of the morning.
"Good luck Bec," Cassie said as she pulled over. I sighed as I opened the door.
I exited the limo when I saw Tasha and her friends waving at me. I stared nervously as I watched Cassie drive off.
"Hey!" Violet said walking over towards me. Charlotte followed her behind.
"Come on we have to go to Victoria's Secret!" she squealed. They all dragged me off, practically skipping with excitement.
I knew this wouldn't be fun. I walked quickly, following the closely behind at their excited pace.
We had walked into almost every clothing store down the block. Every time one of the girls saw one they liked they practically screamed as bolted inside. And at every store we had gone to, I had bought whatever the girls thought would be for me.
"Oh my God Amanda this would look great on you!" Tasha squealed excitedly holding up a fluoro pink tank top.
I grabbed the tank top from her with a fake smile plastered on my face. "Sure," I smiled.
Between Charlotte, Violet, Tasha and I, Tasha had bought the most clothes.
I sighed as I looked around the store. I didn't even know what store I was in. The girls were digging through the clothes racks like they had to find something good or they would die within the next minute. I sighed as I decided to look through a rack rather than watch them. But everything I had bought so far had been items they had picked for me. This shopping trip wasn't about me - it was about getting close to them.
I went over to the dresses looking at them all. I hated fashion nowadays. All these tight dresses that you had to be a size zero to wear otherwise you looked fat. I was pretty skinny from gymnastics but I never went near any of those dresses. I went through the rack ignoring dress by dress. Until, I saw something. I pulled it out. It was a short black strapless dress that didn't look like it would strangle me. In fact, it looked pretty good. Holding it in my hands I turned around to see the girls still digging around the racks. They were going to do that for a while. I decided to go into one of the change rooms and try it on while I waited for them.
