I float down to my house and land on the trampoline. I plop down and try not to let my brain explode. "What the shit is going on?" I hear the screen door open and Julia pokes her head out. "Hey get inside you got stuff to do." I roll over and ignore her because I'm pretty sure that magic on Earth is more important than cleaning my room. I sit up and look to the barn. "I told her not to bother me before I came out here anyway." I walk to the barn and take a look around. "Nothing off here." I climb the ladder and walk to the back of the second floor. The door doesn't appear like it should so I force it to appear. "Weird." Walking into the fort is sometimes disorienting but this time I crumbled to the ground in dizziness and pain. Something is definitely wrong here. That shouldn't happen. I regain myself and stand against the wall. I decide to check on Nikki and see if she is doing okay. I use my 'third eye' and see that she is doing fine and is still out shopping. I stop my spying and walk into my room. It might not be a very big room but I'm the only one who lives in it so I like it. Plus I'm not strong enough to make a larger dwelling, not yet anyways.

I see that my necklace is on top of my dresser instead of in it and think nothing of it. Madi is the only other person who knows about this place and how to get in so it doesn't matter. I walk over to my bed and decide to take a nap because I am super bored and don't know what else to do. I can't really figure out what this magic situation is and I don't want to be so distracted that I forget about it so I might as well rest up a bit.

I wake up starving, probably because I didn't eat any lunch and very little breakfast, and when I look at the clock I see that it is 4:35 P.M. I walk into the kitchen area and grab some left-over spaghetti from the mini fridge and pop it in the microwave. "Nom nom nom spaghetti nom nom nom." I'm still bored but at least I have something to eat. I quickly eat my food and remember that Zinnia had something to talk to me about in the GSD. I concentrate to make a portal but the only image that comes to mind is the place where the spiders were gathering and I do not want to go there. I decide to use my necklace because I am not about to portal to the main place of stupid fucking spiders. I snatch the necklace from my dresser and use my bedroom door to enter the GSD. With a simple turn to the right the cracks between the door and the door jamb flash with bright light. "That has also never happened before." I shrug it off and enter the threshold. The bright light quickly dims to a dark room. What? My eyes finally adjust and I notice the black mass in the middle of the room. "So we finally meet, Mystic?" A voice says in the darkness. I jump. Who is that? And that voice. It sounded like gravel and forks, so deep and raspy. "What brings you here? Come to meet your doom early?" I feel along the wall for the door but it seems to have disappeared. "What? Not going to answer me? Surely you have a voice."

I finally see the figure that is talking to me and can't help but stare at them. I don't want to talk but I feel forced to. "Who are you?" I ask. the figure stands and seems to turn to me. "You know who I am. I am why you exist." This is getting kinda weird, I need to get out of here. "I don't think you know how biology works. Who are you?" I ask it again. "Maybe you should ask The Magic Council who I am." I roll my eyes. "Pfff, they never tell me anything." Oops. "Ahh, they don't do they? And why's that?" Hold your tongue, hold your tongue. "I shouldn't be talking to you." I try to imagine home, the GSD, anything to get away. This place doesn't feel right. Like its filled with evil magic. A low sound of growling and horrid noises like forks on plates erupts from an unknown source. "And yet here you are. So, when are we to fight?" The figure starts to slowly walk towards me. "Fight?" I take a few steps to my right. Maybe I can run if anything happens. My concentration is off so I can't make a portal."Yes, for the fate of your world." A dim light stirs near the figure and illuminates the figures face. It kind of reminds me of the Horned king from the movie The Black Coulren and the Litch from Adventure Time, only much more terrifying.
