I hear a knock on my door. I sit up on my desk chair and call out," It's open." My mother and her 41 year old husband walk in with my twin brother Luke trailing behind. My mother and Jason say everything that I already know about the trip to dad's. Mom and Jason will come on the flight with us and they will spend a week at a hotel in L.A. so they can do some sight seeing then leave. After 15 minutes of saying things I already know, they all leave I grab my Mac and open my messages to Tyler. I type," My mom is making me go see my dad in L.A. during summer. I leave in a week." He answers almost immediately," Bummer. R we going to c each other b4 u leave?" I wonder what he means by see each other I mean I like him but I don't think he likes me back," Idk, I hope so." OMG so despite Hannah. "I hope so too:)" OMG. Wow. Eeeee. He likes me he really likes me. I think I have no idea. I don't get boys. I type back," Gtg, ttyl."
" Ttyl." My heart is pounding so hard I swear I can hear it. OMG. I feel as though I could faint right now. Deep breaths Hannah, deep breaths. I hear Mom scream something at Luke, probably because of his attitude or his inappropriate jokes. " Why, don't I just move in with dad?" Luke screams probably at my mother. There's a long pause, but I hear something muffled. Might be my mom saying that that's not possible because dad doesn't want us anymore, just every so often. He even got a new family. I pick up my phone and click on my favourite reading app Watpad. I go to my library and open up It Follows. This is my favourite book right now. I start to read, The Note. I open my eyes... then I let my mind and eyes take over and read until I can't keep my eyes open.
