This Is Summer

My Idea?

   He pulls away. Looking at me nervously. He opens his mouth and says, " I'm sorry. I thought..." I kissed him knowing he was going to say "you wanted to kiss", which I did. This time I pull away. "I did," I say still holding his hands. I helps me up on to the lifeguard stand. We sit beside each other. My head resting on his shoulder. He finally breaks the silence," This might just be the best summer ever." I kiss him again.

    " Oh ya," I answer. I look out back to the party. Everyone is drinking. I swear I see Chole by the fire. " Austin, can you come with me to see something?" I ask him.

   He answers jumping off of the stand," Ya, anything." He stretches his arms up toward me. I jump into them. I hold his hand as we walk back. We go over by the fire but she's no where to be found. I do see Tyler though. He has a beer in one hand and a girl in the other. He sees me so he starts to make out with her. Oh deer God. Austin leads me a way from everyone and to the dock. We stand at the end looking out at the blue ocean. A crazy idea pops into my mind. So I go with it. I pull my shorts off. Austin is still looking at the ocean. I pull of my sweater. He looks over. To see me smiling and tuging at his striped top. He takes it off. As I look into his tan 8 pack. We lock lips, before I let the idea take over. I slide off my converse and jump over the edge into the icy cold water. Austin is about to jump in when he asks me, "Is it cold?" My teeth are chattering together and I'm treading water to keep warm.
   "Nnooo, nnott aat allll," I say as my teeth vibrate. Austin looks at me, then jumps in. He pulls up and I see the goosebumps on his arms. "You lied!" He yells at me. I swim towards the bouy. Austin catches up. "Ok, maybe it is a little bit cold," I say.
   Austin shows me his arm, "A little cold?"
   "Yes," I say as I start to swim again. I reach the bouy. Austin reacts the bouy I few seconds later. I try to pull my self up, then I feel two strong hands under my feet. Austin is pushing up and I grab a hold of the bars. I keep on pulling until I'm up. I lean against the bars and look out at the sunset. Austin is pulling him self up, when something must have got his legs because he plunges Just below the surface. I scream, " Austin!"
He pulls up smacking his arms against the water, "Hannah!" He yells just as I dive in trying to save him. As I'm in the water I don't feel any lot waves. I swim up to the surface and Austin is on the bouy almost having a laugh attack. I'm struggling to get up. Austin leads me a hand and I see his pearly white teeth, shining back at me. When I fainlly get up, Austin stands up to kiss me. As he's leaning in I push him into the water. I'm laughing as he raises to the surface. He smiles and I bend down to help him up. My arms are out streached to him, he waits then pulls me into the water. We raise for air, and I start to swim back him following me.
