Avane sighed. Once again, she'd found herself with her body twitching uncontrollably. Her mother appeared just outside the doorway to her bathroom, obviously free from any urges compelling her to be somewhere at the moment. Avane envied her. Unfortunately, her mother was stopped by the barrier created in any room with a mirror-- a reverse urge or push that prevented anyone from entering that the urges did not want to be involved in the scene. Avane's mother, Lilac, called out, "Honey, I'll be downstairs. Come down whenever you can and I'll leave breakfast down here for you in case I'm not here." Avane gritted her teeth before replying, "Thanks, Mom. I'll see you later." Avane felt herself crying when she started to raise her head, and she was mortified by the tear streaked face that greeted her in the mirror. A heat rose up her cheeks, embarrassment that would look like despair to the untrained eye.

Finally, Avane was fleeing from the bathroom as she shuddered with relief. It was over, for now.
