Dear electronic entity,

I have been thinking. Deep down, all humans have an ego. Whether it's big or small, it's still there. And no matter what, people love fueling it.

Sometumes people say, "This is shit," but then know it's nice. And in their hearts, they feel proud of their work. They do this so others will come and reassure them it's amazing.

That's one way to fuel your ego.

Other times, people really want to praise themselves. But they don't, because they are fearful people will judge them as arrogant.

I am one of them.

So when a teacher tells me to reflect on "what I did well", I tend to hesitate.

A lot.

So how? How do we squash this super irritating ego which does us little good? There's a thin line between self confidence and arrogance.

I don't think I want to cross it.

That's all! Sorry for burdening you with this random philosophical thought.

Goodbye!
