"Lighting!"A lighting bolt shot towards the monster while making a piercing shrill.Ran panted and perspired profusely after using alot of her energy.Before the beast could react,it stumbled back."Haha I wasn't expecting that.Alas,it won't it will be this easy to defeat me!"It growled.Tsuki and Yumi showed faces of determination,Koizumi ,on the other hand,showed very little emotion.However, through his grey-azure eyes,he showed great interest. "Hehe how 'bout this?"Tsuki smiled,whipping out the lighter.His face darkened,he snickered deviously under his breath."Kid,you seriously think you're gonna kill me with that muggle item?Are you a comedian?Haha how funny"
The beast laughed hysterically.
"Just look."Tsuki raised the lighter above his head and lit it.A burning red flame came out.He waved it,the flame became something like a sharp blade,cutting through the air.Despite the powerful flame,it disappeared when it hit the beast.Tsuki clicked his tongue in irritation.Of course it can't work,idiot.I shooked my head."I already told you.This kind of stuff can't injure me! Are you done? Then it's my turn now!"The beast lunged towards him,ready to assail him using its ginormous claws."Not so fast!"I said,jumping in front of Tsuki to block the attack with my hands.I know that what I did was pretty stupid but I can't afford to get people that are close to me injured even if they have slightly lower-than-average IQ.I gave it a punch and two kicks at its legs,unexpectantly all of this was blocked by its arms.It had a surprisingly tough skin,hard enough to block all my blows.I was quite surprised but I remained calm.This guy's tough,I should not underestimate him."AHahahaha...hahahahha! How pathetic.Y'all are all just tiny little ants that could be squished by simply using my fingertips." Suddenly,something sharp thing protruded out of the ground.I was quick enough to dodge the sharp spike,however,my left thigh was grazed by it.I felt a burning sensation on my left thigh,blood trickled out of it like a broken tape.I winced at the pain,"What did you do?"
"Just so you know,the spike is filled with lethal poison."
What? The moment after he said ,I perspired profusely and felt giddy and sick,having an urge to vomit.
"No!This won't be the end of me!"
The next thing that happened was very queer.A trail of ice crawled towards the monster. The monster's body started to turn into solid ice. "What's happening?"It gnashed its teeth and struggled to get out.
"Nice~Thanks for saving me,my pri-!"I kicked Tsuki in the stomach before he
could utter another word." Focus on attacking people!It's not a time to make a fuss over nothing!" Yongu-sensei advised. I stared at him coldly before jumping away. Soon,the beast successfully broke away.It targeted me,being more than furious.I flew around as it gave out flames of fire at me through its hands."What should we do? We can't let Lan do all the work," Koizumi inquired."Let's try to unleash our power like what Lan and Ran did!"Yumi said excitedly. "How?"Koizumi steadied himself ready to send out something.A mysterious gust of strong wind started to swirl infront of him,forming a tornado.He pushed forward.The tornado became bigger and went towards the monster.Unfortunately,it effortlessly blocked it with its left arm.
With a harsh wave of its hand, Ran's left arm was pierced by the spike he had summoned.Tsuki and Yumi slammed into a wall due to the blow,knocking them out of consciousness.
