Chapter Two~ A Rose And A Teddy Bear

Britt had taken her mind off of everything that had happened in the last hour. She figured she wouldn't see that guy again. Britt decided to take a relaxing bath. She went into the bathroom and she closed and locked the door. Britt got undressed and she stepped into the bathtub, sitting down as she turned the water on. She was in there for an hour or so. Britt got up, grabbing a towel and wrapped it around her body. She dried off and she put on a silky nightgown. As she was about to go into the kitchen, Britt heard a knock. She tilted her head a little and she went over to the door. When she opened it, she saw nobody. Britt looked down and on her doorstep was a stuffed teddy bear and a rose. Britt bent down and she picked the two items up. She just shrugged and went back inside the house. She looked out the window and saw the same man with the mask. Brittney couldn't help but blush. She waved at him which was her way of saying thank you for the gifts. The guy gave a curt nod before walking off. "He doesn't seem that bad." Britt mumbled to herself. She took out a can of wet cat food before opening it and giving it to Pinky. Britt made herself some chicken broth soup with broccoli and a drink or water. It was getting late and Britt went outside, holding the teddy bear. She sat on the porch before laying down and she gazed up at the sky. She could already see the moon and a few stars as well. The sun was setting. "Ah... I can get used to this." Brittney said to herself, holding the teddy bear close to her chest. Brittney had filled up a vase with water and she had placed the rose inside the vase. After an hour of sky watching, Brittney decided it was time to goto bed.
