Knockouts

Rynn's POV
Today is the first day of rehearsal for the knockouts. I'm pretty new to team Gwen so now I have yet another person to impress to get into those playoffs
I found out I'm going against Johnny but I'm excited for it
We both walked in and saw Gwen
"Hi guys" she smiled and hugged us
"Hi Gwen" we said
"Rynn, how does it feel to be apart if team me" Gwen asked me
"Incredible, I can't believe that all 3 of you tried to steal me" I smiled
"You're incredible though. If you didn't get stolen, I'd be worried for the whole competition" Johnny explained
"Now, rehearsals will be a little different today. You two, will be watching each other rehearse" Gwen explained and both of our eyes went wide
"You can go first" I said to Johnny patting him on the back
He started singing A Million Reasons by Lady Gaga and wow, it turned out so good. Typically, for a guy to sing Lady Gaga, doesn't sound good but this one was and I started getting worried
"How do you feel after seeing Johnny's rehearsal" the producer asked
"Nervous. Johnny is so talented so I guess I just have to work harder than I ever have" I explained
"Rynn, you're up" Gwen said and I went down to the stage for rehearsal

Johnny's POV
Rynn started singing All By Myself by Celine Dion and I knew I was finished then
"So, what do you think of Rynn's performance" the producer asked me
"I'm preparing to go home" I chuckled "she's too good for me to beat her"
I went back into the room and she finished singing
"What did you think Johnny" Gwen asked
"I'm preparing to go home" I said
"Stop, you're talented, you may not go home" Rynn smiled
"With a performance like that, you're staying" I scoffed jokingly

Rynn's POV
"Ok, good luck to you both" Gwen said and we all went our separate ways so I texted Mark to see what he's up to
Me-hey, wanna hang before the show?
Mark😚-sure thing, meet you at Chipotle?
Me-yup see ya😊
Mark😚-later babe💓

I blushed and changed again into this

I got to Chipotle and I already saw Mark sitting down
"Hey babe" he said hugging me and kissing my cheek
"Hey Mark" I smiled
"You excited for this" he asked grabbing my hand
"Of course, but I'm nervous as well" I said
"Why, you're the best singer in this competition" Mark reassured
"Well, I'm singing a Celine Dion song so it's fairly easy to mess up
"Which one" he asked
"All By Myself" I laughed
"Wow, you've got it though, I know you do. Gwen stole you for a reason. There's a reason you're still here, so now, just prove it" Mark explained
"Thanks Mark" I smiled and pecked his lips after our food came
Now, the show
Mark's battle was before mine and he did really good with his performance

"You won" I exclaimed hugging him and he smiled
"Yeah, now it's your turn Rynn" Mark said
Weird, he's getting more distant
Then my bestie, Brennley had hers and wow, her voice amazes me so much

"Are you kidding me" I said

And a little while later, it was Johnny's and my battle

He was even better than in rehearsals so I was a little taken back
But now, it was my time to shine

And when I got to the high note, I saw everyone backstage jumping up and down so excited. I also saw Mark smiling from ear to ear and all the judges had their jaws to the floor
"I don't wanna live by myself by myself any-mooreeee" I finished and I got the first 4 coach standing obation of the season
The audience was the loudest I've ever heard it
"Amazing knockout, both of you. Blake, what did you think" Carson asked
"Do we really have to say who won" Blake joked and I laughed
"Johnny had a new outlook when it comes to singing Lady Gaga and Rynn literally made me on the edge of my seat. That was the true definition of a jaw-dropping performance. So my obvious pick would be Rynn but both of you did amazing" Blake said
"Alicia, thoughts" Carson asked
"Holy crap, where did that come from. You are the first person that I have heard to justice to a Celine Dion song. Johnny, your voice fit perfectly with the song, amazing job but I have to go with Rynn" Alicia explained
"Adam" Carson said
"I feel even more stupid than last week. I'll admit, Rynn, I regret letting you go. Johnny, you did incredible. But you can't not pick Rynn Gwen, she is your ticket to win! Rynn, you're probably better off in Gwen's hands and I know you'll do great things in the future but I miss you on my team" Adam said
"Gwen, who's the winner of this knockout" Carson asked
"Johnny, you did incredible, like seriously so good but I have to go with Rynn cause she literally lit the whole place up" Gwen said as I started smiling like an idiot
"Nice job Johnny, I'll miss you" I said hugging him
"Thanks but you deserve this more than me" he said
I was smiling so much and tried finding Team 10 but I saw Mark with Davina, kissing.
Great, now here the tears come
I just don't say anything and walk away
"You did amazing-what happened" Tessa asked
"Mark, cheated on me" I sobbed and she hugged me
"Oh yeah, Ivan texted again" Chance said and hugged me "where is the asshole that is Mark"
"Somewhere over there" I sniffed opening my phone seeing this
Ivan-hey. I know I'm probably the last person you want to talk but I just want you to hear me out. All I want is for you to be happy. Whether it's with me or not, I still love you, but you have someone else. I am so so so sorry that I hurt you, I'm literally the biggest asshole on the planet just leaving you. I didn't want to, but I also didn't want to hurt you by telling you. Instead, I hurt you more. I miss you so much as well and remember, I will always love you💕
And I started crying more and that's when I realized,
I still love Ivan, so I texted him back
Me-hey, you're not an asshole. Mark cheated on me so I broke up with him. I also realized, I love you too❤️. Like seriously, so much, I want you to come back asap, I'm going to the live shows and I want you to support me. I want to go back the way we were before you left. Please come home, I miss my boy😭💓
