Chapter 5

Ash grabs my hand and we are suddenly in a room that I have never been in. "Hello miss Rachel." He says as the smoke disappears.

"Hi mr...Richmond." I say as I look at his name tag.

"Please take a seat! As we both know-"

"All you mean you say we both as if it was just you and me but Ash is here too so we say all!" I say inturupting him.

"Whatever. Anyways we know that you have the power to control air,fire,earth,and water... and you can shift. I want you to take a special class with me and a few other teachers and students. It's a special class for kids like you where kids can control two or more elements. And in that case you and four other students can. You on the other hand can control all while the other kids can only control two." He says.

"Okay is Ash going to be there?" I ask hopefully.

"Of you want him to then yes but if you interrupt class to many times he will be kicked out." He says. Wow he really does hate Ash.

"Why do you hate your son so much huh?" I ask before taking Ash's hand and he smokes us out of the office.

"You didn't and shouldn't have said that." He said sincerely.

"Well I can't have him acting like that to you. He's an ass hole and that's all. Let's go to class. " I say grabbing my books and grabbing Ash's hands. Fist class of the day magical creatures and how to tame them.

"Good Morning Ash and Rachel." Says the teacher as we smoked into the back of the class.

"We were in-"

"I know otherwise I would have gave you a warning." He said. "Now today you will all be getting a magical creature, a book about how to take care of that creature, and food for that animal. Ash would you like to demonstrate?" Asks mr. Sandstorm.

"Sure."Says Ash getting up and going to the right side and opening a door and when he opened it the door disappeared along with the wall. "My name is Ash, I can control smoke,and I can teleport. I am nice for the most part, I am human and I love all types of animals."

When he said this a cage door unlocked and a animal came out. When he came out a mini bear type animal came out. When it breathed it breathed out smoke. "Please come to the front please." Says the teacher.

Ash does as told and sets his animal down. When he does this the animal turns it's back to us. It had dark brown almost black plates like a armadillo. It the looked back at us and curled into a ball. "That ladies and gentlemen is a balflare.(Bale-flare) I am surprised you got him. He is one of the last of his kind!" He says clapping. "Now Rachel your turn!" He says turning to me. I looked at him dumbfounded I hated getting my name called to be one of the first ones to do something.

"Um okay." I say getting up and heading to the room. "My name is Rachel and I can control all of the elements, I can shift and my favorite animal are cats and dogs and-"

A cage door opened. That was quick. Out came a baby beagle. "I don't remember putting a beagle in there. Tell him to turn into a balflare!" He says.

"Turn into a Balflare please!" I say and sure enough my beagle turns into a balflare and just like Ash's he breath out smoke!

"That ladies and gentlemen is a shifter. It can shift into anything you could imagine!" He says.

"Baby unicorn!" I whisper and he turns into a five foot tall unicorn. When I look up Mr. Sandstorm isn't paying attention and is picking out kids to go and get there animal.

"Now you will have to keep them here of course in there cages during the night. And don't forget to feed them properly. Now lesson one. If your animal uses you."

"Now you may wonder what I mean by this. And I will tell you. Some of your creatures may seem sweet like nymph's, or ELF's like some of you have. Now don't get me wrong all creatures cam try to control you but when a creature starts to control you, you will be lost in your mind. You will not be able to move your own body but it will be able to. It can use you for sacrifice, biddings for its master that it can not, or to take your life forever. Now when your in your mind and it is controlling you, you can chant a spell. Do any of you know what it is??" He asks. And of course I do but I don't say a word.
