Makes objects float
(Hermione Granger)

(Hermione POV)
Hermione Granger was sitting at her desk sorting through job applications to see who would be the Mistress of Magic's assistant. Everyone's was the same. No experience, uncleared criminal records, no official degrees, but when she saw the next person's name her heart stopped. It was Draco Lucius Malfoy, the cause of all her tears and sorrows at Hogwarts. He wanted to work for her? She didn't know what to feel. Sad? Angry? Shocked? As she stared at his job application for a long time and what awed her the most was that it was flawless! Except his past as a Death eater. She threw aside all of her hate and anger towards him and started to wonder if she should hire him. She was quickly brought back to reality when one of her co-workers apparated behind her shoulder.

"Nahesa!" she replied startled "Why would you do that!"

"I don't know, for fun?" Nahesa said through laughs.

Nahesa, with her typical green and silver clothing, studied Draco's application with wide eyes.

" Ms. Granger I know you hate him,but look at this! He is actually good and is SUPER hot! He's nice if you get to know him-"

"NICE?! Draco Malfoy?! NICE?!" butted in Harry when he overheard their conversation.

Hermione glanced quickly at Harry and gave him a slight nod to signal she was wondering the same and then sighed out "But... I just don't know if I can trust him."

"Neither do I for that matter!"

"Hey Harry, no offense..I take that back ALL the offense to you, but your judgement is more than a bit clouded."

"You bloody Slytherins, always thinking your the best-"

"That's cause we are."

"Ugh! And always so narcissistic!"

"Thank you!"

"Alright settle down and stop bickering! Back to your desks, I have thinking to do."

"I say no!"

"I say YES!"

Typical Gryffindor and Slytherin rivalry. Idiotic but constant.

Mr. Malfoy.
A nuisance, but a fabulous worker. Supposedly.
His Death eater work is a potential struggle, but the war is over. He isn't the kind of person who can just be forgiven thought. He's done the unforgivable... He's spoken and cast the unforgivable. But he's tried his best...What was his choice? His parents and himself would have been killed if he didn't agree. But what was the point in the end?
I'll give him a chance. A shot of redemption. Something we all need during the aftermath of the war.

Draco (POV)

"Yes! I'm going to work for Hermione Granger!!!"

"Okay....why is that such a good thing? She's such a snob an-" Blaise started, but Draco cut him off saying

"Look, it's a good job, and it's chance to go out on missions again without having to kill people."

Blaise smirked lazily "What's the fun in that then?" Draco smirked back at him and retorted with "No more guilt, at least no more than there already is."

"Understandable mate." He said back with a downcast look, feeling uncomfortable Draco tossed a frozen pancake at him which hits him smack dab in the face and apparated away leaving a very confused and cold-cheeked Blaise alone, sitting on the couch.

"What the bloody hell was the point of that?!"

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Thank you kind sir." stated Draco as the cashier handed him his new blazer. Draco happily walked out the store as he imagined how professional he will look until he knocked into someone and felt a searing hot pain on his chest and the striking smell of coffee fill his nose.

"ARGH! HOT! HOT!"

"Im so sorry, so very sor-MALFOY?!" apologized a familiar voice.

"Hmm? Granger!" said Draco as the pain eased away, "It seems I have just walked into my newest boss! Or truthfully she has walked into me. Ruining my beautiful green shirt,"

"You Slytherins and your green!" Draco winked at her and started to stride off not wanting to talk to the Gryffindor princess anymore.

"Malfoy! I'm not done with you yet," oh great. As bossy as ever, "come prepared tomorrow. Our true outside missions won't start for a while, although I need you for errands."

"Ha. Ha. Me doing errands?"

Yes of course!"

His face went even more pale with the thought of doing a job he didn't agree to have to do or even wanted to do.

"Also, Malfoy?"

"Yes?" said Draco still a bit pale.

"You might want to clean that up." laughed Hermione while shoving napkins in his hand, and she breezed past him laughing harder when she saw Draco's annoyed face.
