The first thing Ciel noticed about Sebastians apartment was the scent. It smelled like Sebastian, a mix between coffee and shampoo that made Ciel's knees feel weak.

Wow.

He would never have admitted that two days ago.

The next thing he noticed was the cat portraits. There where already 3 in the hall, and he didn't want to think about how many more there could be in the rest of the apartment. Just looking at them made him want to sneeze, but he could probably get used to them if he tried.

He also noticed Sebastians black coat that he usually wore to school. It would be fun to try it out sometime...no what the hell was he thinking? It would be way too big! Also...It's Sebastians, sooo...

He realized that he had been staring at the scenary infront of him for pretty long now, and he gave an awkward smile to Sebastian.
Sebastian didn't seem to mind, he just smiled back. "How the heck can a smile be that perfect!?" Ciel thought to himself. He blushed slightly and headed out to what he guessed was the kitchen. He was right.

The kitchen was modern, mostly consisting of the colour black. Ciel glanced at his ring. Black really did fit Sebastians image. He looked around at the and the grey wallpaper that neither let in extra light or kept the light out. It was a smart design. And then, of course, more cat pictures. Sigh.

-"Umm...would you like to drink something so that we could talk? I think we both need it." Sebastian asked awkwardly.
Ciel felt himself blush again. He just walked shamelessly into Sebastian's kitchen. How rude.

Sebastian chuckled, a dark and very Sexy sound in Ciel's ears.

-"This may be a little hasted, but your blush is the cutest thing ever." He whispered.
Ciel, of course, blushed even harder at this comment. Sebastian chuckled again. It almost sent shivers down Ciel's spine.

-"What do you want to drink?" Sebastian asked curiously. "Tea." Ciel quickly answered.
Sebastian wrinkled his nose. "I only have Earl Grey. Is that good?"
Ciel smiled. "My favourite."

Sebastians eyes lit up.

-"Really?" he said, smiling that beautiful smile. He smiled a lot, and Ciel wanted to keep it that way. "I'm not such a big fan of tea, I prefer coffee. It keeps me energized. But if you like Earl Grey, then I suppose I'll keep on buying it."

Ciel blushed slightly. "So you will buy it for me? It's not like you have to..."
The 17 year old blushed a little too, but just a little.

-"Well, that's partly what I wanted to talk about." he said quietly. Ciel smiled.

He sat down on one of the chairs and studied his ring while Sebastian was making coffee. The black stone almost gave him a heart attack everytime he looked at it. It actually fit really well together with the rest of the silver ring. It fit much better than the grey stone at least. The grey colour had kind of melted in with the rest of the ring and it had made it so...plain looking.
Now, with the stone having turned black, it made it much prettier.
Ciel just realized something. He should be able to take the ring off now right? Not that he wanted to, but it would be fun to try.
He lightly squeezed it. Nothing. He pressed the stone. Nothing. He continued to press and pull on different parts of the ring until it finally opened up. He took it off and started to inspect the inside of it while he was at it.
He gasped when he saw what was engraved in the metal. There was a sentence engraved where he would normally have his finger. It said:

"Soulmate: Sebastian Michaelis"

-"So It's official, huh?" he murmured. Sebastian turned around and gave him a wondering look. "Did you say something?"
Ciel nodded. He blushed when he showed the older man his ring. His smile gave Ciel life.
