Part 14: Invitation

-"So what the hell are we supposed to do the rest of the day?" Ciel suddenly asked, kind of relaxing a bit after the occurance of Akuma's message.

Sebastian shrugged and looked out the window. He didn't know either.

-"Oh I know a thing you can show me! I'm glad I remembered!" Ciel said, apparently having something on his mind.

-"What is it?" Sebastian asked, curious as to what his lover had in mind.

-"You can play the violin for me! You could even sing if you want, I would be most honoured to hear it!"

A blush creeped up on Sebastian's cheeks and he looked down at the surface of the table.

-"I-I don't know Ciel..." he mumbled, awkwardly drinking up what was left of his coffee.

-"Please?" Ciel asked, trying to make puppy eyes.

It worked.

-"Yes! Okay, okay just...just please don't make that face..."

Ciel tilted his head, much like a curious kitten.

-"Why not?" he asked, confusion in his voice.

-"Because it makes me want to kiss you." Sebastian answered casually, making Ciel blush. He gave his stupid soulmate a little kiss on the cheek.

Nothing more, nothing less.

Sebastian finally got up to get his violin, his steps getting heavier and heavier.

He was truly nervous.

Sure, he had played for pretty big audiences and many followers before, but he had never in his life played privately for someone.

When the person whom he was going to play for also meant a lot to him, it was even more nerves involved.

He picked up his violin, checked that all the strands sounded like they should, and went back to the kitchen.

                      [Ciel's POV]

Sebastian nervously entered the kitchen.

-"H-hi." he said awkwardly, making Ciel giggle.

-"Stop being so nervous, cutie."

Sebastian blushed. It was one of the few times that Ciel had actually called him by a nickname.

-"O-Okay...I will play fairytale for you, It's a cover of a song that I haven't uploaded to the internet yet."

Ciel nodded and smiled.

-"Can you sing it too?"

-"Sure..." Sebastian mumbled, looking into the ground.

He started playing.

The sound of Sebastian's beautiful violin playing along with his beautiful voice made Ciel's heart flutter. The words passing through Sebastian's lips where just magic, and Ciel could really understand why he had earned all of those followers because of this.
